Wow. This performance had tears rolling down my face . He was having a hard time keeping his emotions in check in the first half of his song .. I heard John once say in a interview that this was one of his favorite songs of Kris's to perform . It shows how much Johnny meant to Kris and how much he actually loved him and respected him!!!I think the feeling was mutual with all the Highwayman Willie, Waylon, Johnny, and Kris. There will never ever be a super group like those four men . The best part is when you watch videos of them live you see how much they actually enjoyed playing with each other. I had the honor of seeing the HIGHWAYMEN when they were on tour. It was one of the highlights of my life! I was raised listening to these great artists. I will always remember that night.
