​​​@@cabana85yeah, it does. People can suffer because of someone else, but people can also suffer with no reason to suffer. Think, depression for example. Constant suffering for nothing, and it can be fixed. Quite easily actually, but so many people buy into what the depression is telling them "it will always be like this" "it cannot be fixed" and never go get help to learn how to fix it. and for the people that suffered from someone else, if they continue suffering after whatever happened then that is their choice. Bad things happen everywhere, all over the world to people who do not deserve it. It's unfortunately very common. If you suffer your whole life from one bad moment, while others can and have moved on from their then you are causing it. If you're causing it then you can fix it.

How can my mental suffering end when I am seeing my loved one suffering from a terminal disease on daily basis. I am not observing but I am into it...the suffering is me I understand. But that is not ending my suffering as suffering of my loved one continues. These theoretical jugglaries fails in the face of actual suffering. JK himself suffered like anything during the illness of his beloved brother Nithya. So suffering doesn't end as long as the suffering of our loved one continues. It remains there.

hey stranger, I know you might be going through a tough life situation, my mom was suffering from cancer, It was an unbearable pain every time I saw her, I was suffering from unbearable psychological pain that actually felt like physical pain in my chest, I didn't escape, never escaped, didn't seek any comfort, and suddenly I got something I felt never before, It was sudden acceptance and love for my mom came out from my heart, from that day I never felt like suffering, pity, empathy or compassion for my mom, I was just feeling love for her, and definitely it was beyond everything. She is now fine though. More power to you.

So long as there is the feeling of me and mine there can be no end to suffering. That is why K says “I am suffering, not separate from suffering”. Ending of suffering means ending of the I/me. While it is not difficult to understand logically, ending of the me is not easy. We have too many attachments like my family, my loved one and so on. All the best.
