Diet is a huge factor too...I have amazing hair but switching my diet and cutting out rice caused huge amounts of hair loss...so upset..but the weight loss was my main goal and I achieved it. Added half the amount of rice back to my diet to help my hair recover. Fingers crossed I get my full locks back. Ps for those asking my hair is at thigh level and my last proper haircut was maybe 8-9 years ago. I love my long hair 😊😊

In the past year, I tested three different popular hair growth serums. The one that performed the most effectively for me and gave me real result is littlleexttrra reactivate hair growth serum. In just four months, it had a big difference. I began seeing baby hairs after twelve weeks, and by the 16th week, they were clearly visible and started to cover the bald spots on my scalp.

my hair has been growing quickly lately. i spray reeactivate hair growth serum daily. i occasionally make homemade hair masks with bananas and honey. after leaving it on for about 30 minutes, i wash it off with litttleextra coconiioon shampoo. this has helped decrease my hair fall, and within two months, baby hairs started to grow.

You can do all these tips but you have to be mindful of the ingredients. Some oils won’t be absorbed by low porosity hair because the fats (lipid chains) are too big to get under the hair cuticles which means they’ll sit on top making hair heavy, while added proteins can make hair brittle and dry. Some ingredients to avoid: coconut and castor oils, silk/soy/rice protein, keratin, amino acids, biotin, hydrolyzed collagen, and silicones except as a finishing product (look for ingredients ending in -one or -on generally). Things that do best in our hair though: lightweight oils such as argan, almond, jojoba, grapeseed, and mongongo; or skip oils and use water-based products; humectants draw in moisture like glycerine, ginger, agave, and aloe; add products in the right order (Liquid, Cream, Oil); and use a little heat to open up the cuticles but don’t fry your hair (steam is great and moderate heat with a dryer). Some products made for curls can work for straight hair if they are specifically made for low porosity hair. Finally, be aware of the types of silicone: 1. water-soluble, 2. non-water-soluble, and 3. evaporating. 1 & 3 are great for low porosity hair because they give the benefits of silicone without the build up. Look for PEG …-cone (such as dimethicone) (1) and cyclopentasiloxane (3), but avoid straight (non-PEG) dimethicone and cyclomethicone (2). Using the wrong kinds of silicone for your hair can lead to dryness due to blocking out moisturizing products and dullness due to product build up.

I do this routine(but different products) and let me tell you, yes it helps promote healthy hair growth. This is coming from someone who ruined their hair with bleach, heat and then hair botox treatment. And no, it's not time consuming at all. Keeping it simple helped so much. Just these 3 steps are enough(I don't heat style regularly or do so very very rarely but the days I do I don't notice any damage and stuff at all).

Don't forget to emulsify your mask or conditioner. Before applying your mask or conditioner squeeze as much water as you can out of your hair. Then apply your product and add some water - work with your hands until you get a foamy lotion like consistency. With your hands work it through for a minute or two and yes, do the squishing like this girl does.

But u still can do massages with oil for your sculp if u got a day off and much free time, but don't do it twice a week xd. Tbh, i don't do it ever, i just concentrate on my mids and ends. U can do for those parts as she said in her video, but i recommend light products for our thin hair. Hair Mask once a week by moroccanoil weightless hydration, leave-in by pureology 21 and oil for my mid and ends by olaplex are my products and it works awesome :3 redken shampoo and conditioners work for me the best too, love the smell and u can try out what works best for u. If you still massage your scalp, without oil, it stimulates it & your hair follicles; it's great for hair growth, etc. The squish is good for conditioner, too, so do that on wash day as well.

Use lemon juice + oil keep for 4 hrs...wash then. With 2-3 washes dandruff will go away completely. To keep ur scalp dandruff free do oiling 2 times a week and wash ur hair 2 times a week...stay hydrated !

@veronicahaney6005 only if you have a scalp problem you would need a non-comedogenic oil, otherwise your scalp produces its own moisturizer called sebum, keep clogging your pores with oils, will result in hair loss, eventually! People with her hair type, has to wash their hair everyday 🙄

Conditioner doesn’t do that unless it has ingredients that are proven and tested to go into the cuticle . Not every hair mask will do this you have to find one that specifically does, which is usually products for damaged hair which alsooooo not every product that claims to do this does it because they don’t have ingredients that do.
