I used to be VERY pro-choice until I became pregnant and saw my 10 week sour patch looking fetus jumping and what it looked like dancing. I cried so much. At that moment I realize that I can’t control nor I owned that tiny body. My job as a pregnant woman is to protect it at least until it arrives to this world. After that, there are plenty of choices like ADOPTION. I will never support abortion again.

I flipped from de facto pro-choice to vehement pro-life in the days following my child's birth. I cannot understand how anyone who has held their own baby in their arms can be for the choice to kill that same baby weeks earlier.

@@hexl702too5How are you reading any of that into her comments? All children deserve a chance to live. The circumstances of their conception are not any fault of their own. Whether or not that child is wanted by its parents, it has inherent value. Your life does not become less valuable when another person doesn’t want you. Every person in the world could reject you and it wouldn’t diminish the inherent value of your life. The same goes for all people, whether the child is a zygote or embryo or fetus or infant or toddler or teenager or the adult is young, middle aged, or elderly. Being unwanted does not make a person unimportant and lacking in value. That is the entire point of pro-life.

I'm ProLife and was also in foster care as a baby and was adopted at 3. I was in abusive foster homes but that didn't mean I was any less important and/or deserving of life. My parents were unable to have children and they found me and knew that I was the one that was meant for them. Their lives would've been drastically different without me, so says my mom. My life mattered as does all unwanted children.

My dad was adopted. He had a very strong stance on Pro-Life. He said "I don't agree with it, I'm not going to fight a woman on that... but it is murder" someone said to him one time "well what if she is a 17 year old girl who had no other choices!?" My dad got quiet and changed the subject. The guy who asked got really smug and thought he "won" my dad's biological mother was a 17 year old girl with no other choices, yet she chose adoption. Yes he was born in 1958 so abortion wasn't legal or even widely avalible... but he and his twin sister were adopted, because his mother still chose them over herself.

That's exactly what's happening with pro-lifers. They don't understand the complexity of the science behind why abortion until 19-21 weeks is perfectly ethical. They oversimplify the science to justify their narrative AND because science is complex, there's no such thing as "mental gymnastics" to justify abortion because science itself IS GYMNASTICS due to its complexity.

The issue with some of the pro-life stance is the lack of abortion access available to rape/ incest survivors. Hell, some states don’t even provide exceptions to people whose lives are at risk from giving birth. When someone’s choice to consent is already stolen, it shouldn’t be stolen again. “We looked at 22 states where strict new abortion laws are, or are about to be, enforced. Of those 22 states, 15 offer no exceptions for rape, incest, or both. Those states are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin.” I’ve looked up a few of those states individually. They had no exception for rape/ incest. In some cases, like TN, there wasn’t even an exception for people who were at risk of death from giving birth. “15 states with new or impending abortion limits have no exceptions for rape, incest” from the Poynter organization. This page includes a diagram of states not including exceptions for rape/ incest. “Most Abortion Bans Include Exceptions. In Practice, Few Are Granted.” By Amy Schoenfeld Walker. I agree abortion shouldn’t be used as an alternative for birth control. But it should be an option for those that never consented to sex or could die from the pregnancy.

Pro-life is actually losing momentum. It has victories for sure such as the overturning of Roe but since it's demise all blue AND SEVERAL RED and swing states have voted to enshrine abortion rights. Plus most people 18-32 are actually pro-choice while older generations die out. So it's going to be an uphill battle for pro-lifers in a few years.

@roxysparks5003 there are no abortions out of convenience. They're all inconvenient to go get. This is disinformation we must stop repeating. They have no proof that anyone gets an abortion because of it's "convenience". They do it for self preservation. Prolife leaders assumed they were out of convenience and are finding out just how incorrect assumptions can be.

@@user-xq4yz1mp1t we cannot even bother to have universal healthcare for humans that are already alive. Six year olds, 12 girls, elderly people, even people with health insurance, can’t even afford to get the medicine they need to survive. So, I don’t think we need to be putting our effort into the unborn. When we cannot even take care of the living populations with us. We cannot even take care of the already alive children. Get back to me when we have affordable health care, and we have a set up where people are getting their basic needs met. We don’t have it though.

girl in yellow arguing that she literally had no value when she was in the womb is so sad. We wonder why suicide rate is up, they literally talk themselves into not valuing their own existence while also screaming to be accepted in their delusional states of made of genders. I get my value from the fellowship I have with those in my church, by what God's standard saying he knew me before I was even created, and through serving others in my community. Thank God I was in jail and abortion was not an option. I was pro-abortion my whole life UNTIL I watched a Kristin video 2 years ago. I just happened to see it pop-up on my suggested videos and i clicked (only God knows why) and of course i was ready to be super angry and annoyed by this "pro-life nazi"....and then i had my entire worldview shattered. Kristin completely dismantled my long held beliefs piece by piece and did so methodically and with grace, patience, and genuine passion. Her arguments were so strong and sound, and backed by facts/science in a way that i had never heard before (because, lets be real, the liberal propaganda machine is powerful) and i remember finishing that video in tears. And i sat there wondering-- what else have i been completely lied to about all my life? And today, after a 2 year journey, i am a loud and proud conservative! Because it is the ONLY way to bring our country and society to a sane, healthy, balanced, caring, strong, patriotic, moral, loving, hardworking, fair, and blessed place! God bless 🇺🇸 and we must continue the fight to make a major cultural change, or we will lose all of our youth to the hyper-radical social justice warrior rainbow mafia.

Unfortunately America has completely rejected God and the wound is too great. Just like the cry of sodom and Gomorrah was great and it had to be destroyed so too is the entire earth now. People can get saved, but there will only be one eternal kingdom. It’s when Jesus takes control of the entire earth and sets up his perfect kingdom. Our government works for Satan along with every world leader! The ten kings along with the antichrist are here I believe and as soon as the church is complete and caught up, they will be set free to do as they wish. The Holy Spirit is restraining them during the church age, but will change how it works after the rapture.

I thank God for people like Kristan because she IS TRULY BRAVE continuing to speak up even when targeted with verbal abuse and actual physical violence. She is so right when she says it is not the people who get up and TRY to argue, but those who just listen, who have the chance to learn all pd the things that I did that changed my mind. Also, when I changed my mind, I did not recognize any religion. It's only been years since that that aspect has even entered my argument at all. Absolutely. My Mom lost a baby to a miscarriage, and I never had the chance to mourn my little brother. I gave him a name, Iacopo ( = James). Sibling Bereavement Syndrome is a thing. Maybe it's due to different life experiences, but these girls who say "Eh, it's not conscious, woh cares" have probably never felt the connection with a sibling in the womb, and the sudden severing of it. And if they have felt it, they are sociopaths along with their mother, sorry but I have no other word for it. Same for Yellow Tee's reasoning "I was not conscious, I would not care if I had been aborted". Yeah, and all the lives she has impacted positively? Oh wait, probably none, with that attitude. I was seven, I knew what was going on. Today, several religious groups organize funerals for aborted babies, spontaneously or otherwise. Iacopo did not have that chance, but he lives forever in my heart and beyond.

I’ve seen so many women argue that a drink here and there (some even say a glass of wine a night) as well as advocate smoking weed for morning sickness. As well as for anxiety, etc. Women of all races were arguing that it’a ok. Thankfully most do not believe it’s ok. It’s WILD. I don’t understand it. I can see the argument for edibles to help HG (severe morning sickness) but smoking? That lowers the baby’s oxygen.
@dragonmom8406

@@Taylor_mamaof2I'm guessing that most people abuse weed and just use anxiety and morning sickness as an excuse, but it really can help with some things in moderation. I avoided edibles because it's hard to find the right dose. Fortunately, I never had real morning sickness. But my grandmother died towards the end of my first trimester of my first pregnancy. I used a vaporiser and only took a small puff on the rare occasion that everything was just too much. She was the most important person in my life other than my grandfather. In the last months of each pregnancy, I'd get some weird maddening feeling in my legs when I'd go to bed at night. Often yoga would help enough that I could sleep, but sometimes the only thing that helped was cannabis. But I never used more than a small puff at a time. I tried hemp tea and CBD, but it wasn't as effective.

@jenniferbaez1725
@jenniferbaez1725 Жыл бұрын
Two things. When I was pro choice I used to think that abortion should be legal because some women, no matter what, will find a way to get one. But then I realized that this thinking is the same as, “you might as well make it legal for people to drink and drive because there will always be someone drinking and driving. I immediately debunked that statement with my own logic. The second thing is that it took me a long time to realize that I want to have children. I thought, “the world is overpopulated, there is suffering, there is so much cruelty, so why bring a child into this chaotic world?” But then I realized that in order to change the world that we live in, we ourselves and our future generations are the ones who will need to take a stand to end all injustices. Otherwise, we will complain and do absolutely nothing about it. I now also know that we don’t have an over population issue. I’m proud of people like Kristen who take a stand for what they believe in.

Missed or spontaneous abortion is the proper medical term for a pregnancy that ends in the death of the baby. Elective abortion is choosing the death of the baby. Abortion comes from the Latin word abortionem… most of our medical terms come from root Latin words.

@Izzyb70217 Thanks for that, I googled it and found that 'abortion' comes from 'aboriri' or 'abortio', which translates to miscarry. But the modern definition of abortion specifies "intent." I think the most important thing I learned that really shifted my mindset, was that abortion clinics have gained so much popularity because some women don’t want to take responsibility for their careless actions. When adults want to do a consensual adult thing together, they need to be willing to accept the adult consequences, and not get frequent flyer miles to their nearest clinic or pharmacy. I wish I had a tip to persuade people against abortion. My method has always been opening myself and offering my story and assistance through their pregnancy. I helped women sign up for the necessary assistance and was someone they could go to at any time to talk/I would go to them. My struggle in the movement has been finding a group that doesn't have a specific religious backing. I don't follow a religion, but I value Life and believe in a Creator.
