At Diana’s funeral, when they all sang “God Save the Queen”, I felt it was in honor of Diana…..until I realized it wasn’t. Shocking. It wasn’t considered a state funeral so why did they sing it for Elizabeth??!

I think Stewart’s performance was artful and nuanced. Interesting when you consider the movie is not a biopic but an endeavor to put on the outside what could have been felt on the inside. It’s an attempt to make knowable what ultimately can’t be knowable. That hard to explain turmoil that’s difficult to explain in our own lives but definitely was hard to explain in her (Diana’s) own. I enjoyed the care Stewart took playing this character. The film, the way it’s written and directed, feels like a long poem.

The Spencer PR is pushing hard to salvage Stewart's career. Stewart's mouth breathing and lack of emotional range are a disgrace to the memory of Diana.
