Finally Children actually being allowed to decorate the tree ! No one ever shows the children decorating instead everyone is wanting their tree to look designer. We always decorated the tree as a family and couldn’t wait to pull out the same decorations that have memories or were homemade by the kids each year adding a new memory to the mix. Such fun and great memories. I also love hearing scripture in your videos especially pertaining to working in the home and motherhood . For so long woman we’re made to feel less important if they stayed home to raise the family instead of of seeking a career . Sadly it was other woman who made woman feel this way . Iam so joyful to see many young woman embraceing and loving their roles as wives , moms. And turning their houses into sanctuary’s of love , peace and safety. Yes, glad some has said this, all those perfect monochrome trees. I have to admit, few years ago I wanted a tree like that, tried to convince my 5-6 year old at the time that we will only put 2 colors on the tree. He would not have it and I no longer even try. I let them decorate however they want. Its just perfect

The last time I had a big tree after my boys moved out was so painful. I was alone putting up the tree and hanging up all the homemade ornaments and reliving all the past memories with tears in my eyes. I realized how fast the years fly by when raising your children and how much I missed my little boys. Enjoy all the moments you have you won’t believe how fast it goes bye.🙏🕊❤️

I never felt less important for being a stay at home mom- I felt “rich” because I could. (We were by no means rich). So many of my friends had to work to make ends meet. We lived extremely frugal to meet our commitment to live debt free and me to stay home. Still, I felt rich because I was wealthy in other more “important to us” ways.

Kristen is it always so enjoyable to watch your videos and today was extra special seeing your darling girls. IF you ever get west of Omaha, head to Grand Island and go to the Railroad Towne Antique Mall. It is a fabulous antique store, 3 floors of antiques. Then you can head further west to my town called North Platte and go to Grain Bin Antique Town. This would be a must in the spring, summer or fall. It is 20 wooden grain bins each filled with all types of antiques and a full size massive shop filled with primitives, antiques, antique furniture, you name it. By the time I was 12 I ran our commercial fishing lake when my mom was grieving my dad's passing. Please ignore any comments that don’t apply. What a great video and exactly what I needed to give me the motivation to put up our tree. Your girls are amazing and the sweetest part of life! I own the same floor cleaner by a different company. Be sure to rinse ALL of the parts after each use. Will make your machine last so much longer. You will love it.
