The corn husk dolls are absolutely fabulous!! Love the vibe of the fall print too☺️ You could actually take paint and fix damage on it just by carefully painting over it in those places with the same colors☺️ I’m not a painter but I’ve done it, and it’s an easy fix☺️

You are doing an AMAZING job Kristen!!! I have 4 kids and know exactly how hard and time consuming it is to raise a family while also trying to put together a home!! Look how much progress you’ve already made. From the sneak peaks everything looks absolutely beautiful. You are a huge inspiration to me. My kids are older now (28,23,18,& 16) and my house is still a work in progress. I chose to spend a lot of time making memories with my children and decorating came second. They are only little once so just take your time with your house. It will come together. Enjoy your little ones.

Get a magic eraser from the dollar store. It's the no name brand or you can get the regular brand. Clean the white parts of the van running shoes and you will be surprised how white they get. Soak the running shoes in hot water and detergent, rinse and the let them dry on a laundry line or just in the sun and they will be very nice.

Great haul. The leather belts you can cut and use on baskets for handles. You are brave to have white furniture with 3 little ones 🤗. Those corn husk dolls r in fantastic shape and so adorable.

Hi Kristen, I use the towel holders in the guest bathroom also. In the winter, germ season, people would rather use a fresh paper towel than a cloth towel that others have used. 😀

I live in Blair and never knew Omaha had a goodwill outlet bins, I am definitely going to try it sometime. Blair got a Goodwill about 5 years ago and it's pretty decent find some good treasures. Love ya girl keep it up!!

I always love seeing your finds. That was a great price for everything! The green pants look great on you and just sew the white ones in and/or add extra elastic in the back. I appreciate the sneak peek at the house when you were trying things on. I think that is a little girls dress-it is darling! The corn husk dolls are so precious. I have a bit of an addiction to Vans shoes. Mine are not thrifted but they are great quality shoes and comfy to wear at work all day. I wanted to tell your that I found 1 bottle of the blueberry creamer left at Walmart. I had to dip my finger in the splash I put in the coffee mug while the coffee was brewing. It is sooooo yummy! I even paired it with some blueberry coffee.. Thanks for suggesting that great find. Your house will come together in time. You have a lot on your plate. My boys are older and I still can't keep up!

I lived in Omaha twenty years and miss the thrifting there. I moved to a little country town called Ponca about 2 1/2 hours northwest from there and love it, but Omaha was such a great town for that period of my life. Really happy to find your channel and re-experience that great fun!

When I buy wooden objects from GW I use Dixie Belle Paint’s hemp oil to renew them and cover scratches and other wear and tear without changing the color. It also adds a waterproof coating. It’s amazing how much better they look when the wood has been rehydrated. I use it on picture frames all the time. If you don’t have access to Dixie Belle you can find some at a hardware or paint store.

I tried to take my husband thrifting with me one time and at the end of the day he said, I think this is a hobby you should do with someone else!
