I love the Mint refining toner. It doesn’t smell like anything to me and it helps balance the flora of skin from bacteria. For my acne I feel like it keeps my skin clean/balanced. & I love the light aloe moisturizer which I feel I’m hydrated but not overly moisturized. I feel clients don’t even know what to look for when considering hydration. Just like my hair clients which is why many of them now have damaged hair and overly porous.

I am so excited for this series. Would love to hear about Glymed and your experience with Eminence. I had reached out to Eminence and didn’t realize how intense it was to get their product! Also interested in you thoughts on Skin Better and brands that make it so only those with a medical director can have pro accounts. I started using skin script at a new spa and I agree with the 3 least products. Definitely feel like you could probably improve them or have your client get another show stopping product. The packaging I don’t like either. I started using the green tea cleanser, the cucumber toner and ageless skin moisturizer. And I hate that I’m not attracted to them when I see them on my bathroom counter.

Agreed, the aloe “moisturizer” is so dryyy. But you lost me at the Vitamin C Serum 😭 I love that serum for hyperpigmentation

hahaha I knew I'd probably get some question marks for the Vitamin C but I dunno I just didn't like it! haha but I get some people really love it. It also left an orange residue on one of my clients. so i was torn! lol

You picked the main two items I no longer use. The vit c is sticky and not good for acne prone skin and the aloe moisture isn't hydrating at all. I'm thinking about using Ordinary products and see if I can get rid of my texture skin.

The green tea one felt sticky and weird but I have combination skin with acne and the other vitamins c would make me break out because I found out that certain vitamin c make acne worse because the extract would be the peel of the orange rather than the orange inside.The orange peel is stronger and that is why skin script has two different ones.

Love Skinscript products on my routine right now! However, I’m still having trouble with my hormonal acne. Some weeks it’s great and then I feel like other weeks I get set back with my skin. What products from them would you recommend for hormonal acne?

Hi! Licensed Esthetician here, hormonal acne is best treated with changes to your diet. Eliminate dairy, soy and sugar as these can alter your hormones and increase oil production. Also be mindful of certain birth control that can trigger hormonal acne as well. As far as skincare, my advice is to stay consistent and never miss your morning or night routine. Sometimes it only takes one missed day to allow acne bacteria to form. Hope this helps!

I do believe the vitamin C serum is very sticky. I thought that was maybe a good thing. I've been using it for 2 months now with everything my esthetician tells me to use for my acne prone skin and my skin has gotten worse. I'm not popping my pimples anymore I'm hoping things will go away on its own. I'm not seeing any results at all. Plus my esthetician didn't even recommend the whole acne line. I had to bring it up to her that do you have anything that will help stop the breakouts? Maybe I need to switch estheticians cuz this crap is expensive. I'm thinking about going back to the Clinique acne line which has helped me in the past.

Try their Açaí berry moisturizer. It’s great for acneic skin types I use it myself with cystic acne. I thought you would have their ageless serum in your top 3 😂😂you are the reason why I started using this line and Glymed 👍🏽keep the videos coming. Can you do Glymed next??

Hi skin script pro here. 😊 They do have a list of allergies. It all depends on what fruit you or your clients are allergic to. My best friend has a latex allergy from Mango. The latex issue is mostly the skin of the fruit. So she can't take or eat anything with latex in it. Just using her as an example.
