The press (by the rubbish Daily Mail and Daily Mirror) are wrong about the dates btw. Both articles say it was “shot a few weeks” before she died, but it wasn’t, it’s 3 years before she died. It’s a single from 2004 and the video was shot in 2004. His solo career was over by 2006 in fact. Not a huge deal but I simply can’t stand misinformation especially when it’s written to artificially add more emotion to the storyline. Even from the sound of the song & the look of the video I can tell it’s the early to mid-2000s not as late as 07. In fairness the Wikipedia page for the song gets it right.

I knew about this case a few years ago (a while after it all happened) but never knew Meredith appeared in a video until now. Also found out Amanda Knox wrote a script for a video while in jail. Found all this out after reading about Watts family murders and what sicko Chris Watts musical taste had to do with his monsterous behaviour. For me it makes everything seem all the much more personable, like taking them from story figures and showing they r just normal people until one day everything is turned upside down.

Amanda’s DNA was on the kitchen knife belonging to Raffaele. There were 2 knives used, on both the feet & right side of Meredith’s neck, the kitchen knife dealt the final blow. Raffaele had a collection of knives which were not tested for DNA or bleach. He carried a knife with him daily. R & A gave 3 different alibis. The alibi that they gave saying they went home in the afternoon & watched Amelie on R’s computer was false. There was no activity on their computer at that time. They were seen together in town.
