I consider those dolls educational and think we all need to chill. If the national costume is wrong then find an appropriate designer and get a re-do. I was fascinated as a child to learn that there were so many different designs, fabrics and combinations...the differences taught me to understand that we are all different but yet the same.

Carries actually changed again, just as much as Charlottes- the robin egg blue paint is gone: the big ‘LOVE’ picture that hung next to her “front” door is gone- the white covered shelving, bay seating and tv she had in her living room is gone- her bedroom is back to how it looked before she renovated it… A lot of the furniture she bought in the first movie has been replaced with older looking furniture; like her bed. Her entire apartment is different again. The way it used to look in the first 2 movies is not how it looks now: and some parts actually look the way they did before she remodeled. There were some differences in her and Bigs apartment as well: but those were more subtle.

And Carrie said she wouldn't take Charlotte's money but she wanter her to offer it to her as a sing of support and understanding of what her friend was going through. Miranda was pregnant with Brady and she offered Carrie the money and Samantha of course...

I can kinda, sorta see why some could find them offensive. I've never given the matter any thought before this but when you look at the dolls, it's the same Caucasian-style face sculpt for every doll (just painted different skin tones), which of course doesn't take into account the obvious facial diversities between races; iirc that argument was made against Barbie dolls, too, when it came to merely using a typical white Barbie face sculpt for non-white dolls. Then the outfits they're given, while largely traditional and in some cases even ceremonial in nature, are a bit reductive when we know that ppl from every race and culture aren't necessarily bound to just those types or styles of clothing. It could be considered stereotypical. This is how I rationalized the criticisms against the dolls, anyway.

And she would have refused Charlotte's offer too at that lunch table. It was the fact that the help wasn't offered at all. . It is quite normal to suggest help to the best friend when you are really rich. Especially a loan. I would have offered help. Like Samantha and Miranda have.
