Except, I’m a 33 year old female, who was diagnosed in middle school, as an accidental blessing due to my brother being severely ADHD, having hearing issues which caused speech delay, dyslexia, and delays. Our elementary school PTA (of which our mother was President) decided to host a world/nationally known ADHD specialist out of Pittsburgh Pa area, after they realized there was no one around here for kids like my brother, to spread awareness. That’s when they realized they ought to take me to him, because as they listened to the lecture I was ticking all sorts of boxes. 😂😂😂 If it weren’t for my brother, they would have probably never looked into anything for me.
