@Freaky0Nina this. My grandma is dealing with an infection of Klebsiella pneumoniae because the rehab facility somehow didn't clean her properly when she had a bad BM. But I've heard that you can get this from staying in soiled underwear. Thankfully she just finished the antibiotics and is at home.

@@sheshiechan, I'm sorry to hear that, I hope she is completely fine now. I don't know your grandma so am not familiar with any mobility issues she might have. But I can tell you that I have seen Code Browns that sent me to buy treats for the staff having to clean it up. It gets *everywhere* and if the person has trouble standing, moving and balancing everything gets more complicated. I'm sure they did their best for her. Klebsiella is pretty aggressive. I'm glad she has you to help her.

Colonoscopy diagnosed, yup, hemorrhoids. But. No cancer... bc those symptoms? Could have been a number of things, including cancer. I relate to this so much. I have my first appointment with a neurologist in two weeks to see what can be done about my migraines. Being chronically ill can make you feel like life isnt worth living, because honestly? Its hard to do anything when youre that uncomfortable. Dizziness, vertigo, nausea, GERD, migraines cause way more issues for me and many others than just a little headache. And the worst part is, with a lot of chronic illness, people cant SEE the problem, so they dont know how much it truly affects you. And then you're made to feel weak or attention seeking. Im so happy you've found a possible treatment to help make life easier for you. And I'm really glad to hear you're healing up well. I love and support you, and I hope you continue to improve!

Not because I didn't want to live. I couldn't bare living anymore. And it's talked about way too little. Kristin, your color palette in this video is so soft and gorgeous! I’m a big fan!😍 Also, I’ve been following your updates on Instagram, and I’m very happy to know you’re doing okay. Sending you some healing vibes in your last push to get back to normal. You know, whatever normal is anyway🙂

Wishing you a speedy recovery! I can relate in spending hours dealing with bathroom issues. I had colorectal surgery (elective colostomy) last fall and agree that “colorectal” is fun to say 😂

I’ve been there, anal fissure was one of the worst pains I’ve had. I wish you a speedy recovery and I hope it helps! It’s definitely no way to live.

Aww to hear that you were used to being a 5/10 in pain is so sad. I'm so glad that you're feeling better and I hope you recover quickly! Thank you for being so open!

Thank you for being so candid about this! We need to talk about the uncomfortable more, so that it allows others to speak up too! Our bodies are not shameful if they don't work like everyone else. I have a different type of chronic pain, and my normal baseline is a 5. I'm so glad you're feeling better post surgery! I hope you feel better soon, dear!

Oh, girl, butt stuff is the WORST! I have similar issues, but nowhere near as bad as yours. I'm glad you are currently healing, and I hope you continue the upward trajectory! Love from Ohio! xoxo

Kristin, I'm sorry you've been in so much pain! I've never dealt with fissures, but I did have a period of a few years where I was living with really severe IBS, and it got to the point where I was so sick that I just couldn't see a reason to keep living like that. Eventually things got better, but what kept me going was being able to watch videos from folks who were brave enough to share such intimate, embarrassing experiences with their GI issues; it was invaluable information that gave me hope. Thank you for being so brave - I'm sure this video will help someone feel seen, and give them hope!

Glad to see the comment posted at the top that the surgery went well! Kristin, I hope you know that it's so nice that you are being so open and honest about your surgery. It's not required or anything by any means, but it's appreciated. As a fellow human that also has butt-related issues (not the same issue, just the same body part), I know how embarrassing it can be to start being open about stuff like that. My issue started happening when I was in my teens and early 20s and I was super embarrassed and hesitant to ever mention anything to anyone, even my mom and my best friends. But as things got more and more annoying, the desire to complain slowly overcame my embarrassment and I slowly started to open up about it. Now I'm just pretty upfront about anything that anyone wants to know. However, one thing that really helped was the fact that as time went on, I also met other people that had similar problems and I started to realize that I wasn't alone. You might not realize it, but this video is going to help people feel less embarrassed and less alone about a medical problem that might be out of their control. You're great for doing that! I hope your recovery continues to go well!

I completely understand. Last year involved 2 surgeries for me, one saved my life. I had a severe infection that had to be surgically removed, then i developed a fistula from the healing of that surgery. Which also had to be repaired. Surgeries were 8 months apart, each took months to recover from. Glad your surgery went well, thank you for talking about it. It does happen more than people think.

I'm going through some rough times with anxiety right now, and this video was very comforting for me to watch even though our probs are different. I'm glad to hear your recovery is going well! Thank you so much for your openness, part of why I have a hard time in this world is most people's unwillingness to talk about chronic illness and disability. And their discomfort when I need to talk about it!
