Reared in a faithful Fundamentalist home. Kristine accepted Christ at the age of five. After attending Biola University, Sshe and her husband, Marty, became missionaries to Guatemala to "rescue Catholics from the darkness of their religious superstition and man-made tradition and bring them into the light of Protestantism." On the mission field they experienced many doctrinal disputes between the missionary groups, eventually bringing them to question the Reformation dogmas of "sola Scriptura" and private interpretation, and eventually feeling led by God to the Catholic Church.

I am a catholic and left the church for 12 years searching for the true church to worship but my search did not yield any meaningful fruit.I left the catholic church because i was made to believe catholic worship Mary and the saints.This is a fallacy.People read the bible and give their own meaning to what they have read and confuse you.My advice to all Catholics is that they should cultivate the habit of reading the bible on their own and God will give them the discerning mind to understand.The church is the true church ordain by Christ.

In 1521 Pope Leo X formally excommunicated Luther from the Catholic Church. That same year, Luther again refused to recant his writings before the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V of Germany, who issued the famous Edict of Worms declaring Luther an outlaw and a heretic and giving permission for anyone to kill him without consequence. He received a bachelor of arts degree in 1502 and a master of arts in 1505. In the same year he enrolled in the faculty of law. . In 1507 Luther was ordained to the priesthood. In 1508 he began teaching theology at the University of Wittenberg. Luther earned his Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies on 9 March 1508 and a Bachelor's degree in the Sentences by Peter Lombard, (the main textbook of theology in the Middle Ages). in 1509. In 1510 Luther was sent to Rome on business of the order and in 1512 received his doctorate in theology. On 19 October 1512, the University of Wittenberg conferred upon Martin Luther the degree of Doctor of Theology... I believe that Martin Luther was a VERY EDUCATED man, and had the will to share his knowledge as a teacher as well as a Christian theologian and Augustinian monk. One of his good friends was Aristotle. Martin Luther was one of the most educated men in the 15th century and among any man in history! It would seem that even a pope with NO EDUCATION refused to listen to him! Then again the pope said that he would have Galileo burned at the stake if he published his writings. Such high esteem this so called pope has for others! I think we can ALL see just how fallible any pope is. SMH

The Office & Qualifications of the Pope Are Nowhere Mentioned in the Scriptures.The Pope is believed to be the head of the church, but note: Ephesians 1:22,23 - Jesus is head over all things to the church (cf. Col. 1:18). What is there left for a Pope to be head of? Ephesians 5:22-24 - A husband is head of his wife as Jesus is head of the church. But for a wife to submit to two husbands is adultery (Rom. 7:2,3). So for the church to submit to two heads (Jesus and the Pope) would be spiritual adultery. Matthew 28:18-20 - Christ has all authority in heaven and on earth. He is the one lawgiver (James 4:12). To claim that the Pope may issue religious laws is to deny the unique power of Jesus. The Bible plainly states that Jesus is Head of the church. He is the one Lord in the one body (church). There cannot be two Lords any more than there could be two Gods (Eph. 4:4-6). Bishops (even from Rome) are forbidden to lord over the flock (1 Peter 5:1-3). Learn your own history from other books OTHER than CATHOLIC books. Many Catholics are deceived into believing that this scripture is speaking of the “Roman” Catholic Church. Thus they are bound to remain in a church that has fallen into paganism and false doctrine, believing that their's “IS THE CHURCH OF GOD”! Catholic verses “Roman” Catholic The term “Church” in scripture does not mean “the Roman Catholic Church”. The word “church” means “assembly, meeting, a calling out, a religious congregation” (Strongs #1577 “ekklesia”) When a scripture verse is quoted pertaining to the “church”, Catholics are taught that the reference to "the church" means the "Roman Catholic Church"! This is not true! You give the meaning of "EKKLESIA KATHOLES" which literally means, "The Church throughout" or "The Universal Church" then some how come up with the Catholic Church. May I ask HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE? The catholic church IS NOT UNIVERSAL IN ANYWAY! They are of their own and SHUN ALL OTHER CHURCHES! Just the OPPOSITE of UNIVERSAL? How is it the catholic's can even lay claim to "The church throughout" when at that time it was Christianity that was going around. All Christians believe in canon law and the Ten Commandments, but Catholics follow papal law, believing that God speaks through the pope on matters of dogma and that the pope’s authority comes through the succession of Peter. God NEVER give the powers for the Apostles to pass succession to ANTONE! Thus, we have shown that the apostles were the only ones who were to receive the power from on high and were to wait in Jerusalem for it (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8). This power enabled them to speak in tongues, prophesy and work miracles (Acts 2:4,43). Also, it gave them the ability to transmit the Holy Spirit by laying their hands on others. New Testament prophets were made in this manner and they also could speak in tongues, prophesy and work miracles but could not pass on the power to others (Acts 8:4-6; 14-19).

Lets make this simple; The actual word CHRISTIAN is so easily found written in the Bible. The word catholic is such a shot in the dark, it's like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I will go on to say that even the catholic's first so called pope said CHRISTIAN. The first time was in (Acts 11:26) And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. (Acts 11:26) Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian. (Acts 26:28) PETER himself said - Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.(1 Peter 4:16).. Yes even PETER said CHRISTIAN, not catholic. Why do the Pagan catholic's think they have to use FALSE definitions, lies, and scruple-less meanings to even come close to coming up with the word catholic that was NEVER even used until OVER 107 years LATER? Is this supposed to be relevant? I have never heard any Catholic claim that the word is in the Bible. "Catholic" just means universal, as in "for everyone," as it is our duty to preach the Gospel to all. I became a Catholic in France, where the common word for a Catholic is simply "chrétien," (Christian). Protestants are called (and call themselves) "évangélistes." So what? We Catholics believe the Catholic Church, founded by Christ, is scriptural. Period.

There are eleven (11) verses in the Bible containing the term Church of God. On the other hand, we cannot read even a single verse; neither apostles nor early Christians used the name Catholic Apostolic Roman Church. They even moved their home to Rome as well instead of staying in Jerusalem, the ONLY home of Jesus Christ! 2hands full St Ignatius was a disciple of the Apostle John, and he was named Bishop of Antioch by the Apostle Peter in the mid first century. Ignatius called it the Catholic Church in the year 107 A.D. The name Catholic Church goes back to the MID-FIRST CENTURY. Igantius knew Polycarp who knew Irenaeus etc...they all call the church the Catholic Church. Baptism is the fulfillment of Circumcision. I would be more than happy to address each concern you have with the Catholic Church. Do you want to start with Sola Fide?
