Been watching you fish for while. Very inspiring the determination and sacrifice you've put in the last 8 years or so sitting in a kayak. I just retired and am hitting the Texas kayak trail this year. Glad to see you hitting the big time!

What a wonderful tournament Kristine thanks for sharing your first event of the year. Shaking the webs off the fishing poles get them back in the water and catching a limit. Great job going to be awesome year for you and the momentum moving forward will push you to a victory in 2025. Even with some crazy wind knot that would drive most people crazy you were calm and got the line straighten out and still caught a fish LOL! I think that what got the nerves settled is being able to have a great cameraman to keep you focus and talk with you all day. Tight lines take care and God bless let’s go 2025!!❤❤❤❤

5 fish on Clark's Hill...first time? That's excellant. The water level on that lake fluctuates so much. The sound of your wind knot fish hitting the bottom of the boat, that poor fish, was that a can of cold foam creamer for coffee? Earlier in life I would have been in that boat chasing that dream right along with you. Thanks for breaking that glass ceiling for the next generation.
@kristinefischer22892 күн бұрын
I’m pretty happy with that too! It’s always a challenge to adjust to water level fluctuations! Eh the fish was ok! All I could do when both hands were hand lining it in!

Kristine not sure if they have told you when you are culling try to make a barrier with you livewell and storage lids just open them that way if one comes shooting out as soon as you open the lid or even during culling you have a better chance of blocking it from going in the water haha next time your around Scott Martin asking him about the wall of skeetee

I think you did a great job in conditions you are not familiar with. That was not a wind Knot. That was just flouro being flouro on a spinning reel. Flouro also looked a lil heavy too? 6-8# best in open water. I never use a flouro leader longer than the rod. This way knot and flouro are never on the spool. No reason to go over six feet of leader. A checklist is also a good idea so you don't forget anything. Good Luck!!

I stopped used it long ago because hurt my wrists but recently started teaching my little cousin and he prefers spinning , this one time same happened to him he commented me that maybe because he put to much lime , I didn't believe at that moment it was the cause but now that you make the same argument I do believe it's the reason , by the way love bait casting@@kristinefischer2289

What’s the survival rate of the fish? Banging around inside a small steel live well and then upside down in a bag during the long drawn out awards ceremony. Sad. I love kayak fishing and always try for a quick photo and release….. BASS, Toyoto and all sponsors of this madness should be ashamed. And those who participate as well. There has to be a better way.
