I get so excited every time you post. It always feels like we’ve just a lovely catch up day together. ❤️ I’m so sorry to hear that you guys have ongoing pain still. If you need to vent about the accident, do it. Honestly, so open to hearing where your heart is at, regardless of the season. Your openness is one of the things that inspires me to let myself feel things deeply and let go a little 😅 Also James’ bed hair is so sweet 🥹

Video editing truly is my life’s passion, it would be so cool (if you do decide to get an editor) to ask your subscribers to apply! Given I’ve been with you for years now, I feel I (and I’m sure many others) have a solid feel of your video editing style. It truly truly would be a dream come true to be able to follow my life’s passion all while working with one of my role models (a girl can dream lol). Also wanted to say, I really appreciate you speaking on your ongoing struggle with the car accident. I injured myself last month and although I was only bed ridden for one month, I truly truly felt everything you were saying about never taking movement for granted again and how hard it is to face life altering and ongoing health problems while still being grateful for the gifts it’s given in terms of perspective. Never shy from sharing what’s on your mind, it’s never annoying. We’re here because we love you and genuinely enjoy hearing you speak your mind! Stay blessed

I was involved in a car accident about 5 YEARS ago now and it left forever scars on my forehead that I have to deal with and look at everyday and also am STILL dealing with legal issues involving it all these years later and it can be overwhelming and I never know how to explain it to people but hearing you talk about y’all’s accident and how it makes y’all feel is comforting in a sense knowing I’m not alone with those feelings so thank you Kristin✨

Hey Kristin so proud of you for overcoming everything you have been through! You and Marcus are beautiful parents and inspiring people. I love how y'all's relationship is still just as strong as ever but can still be goofy and silly together. You will for sure pass that onto James! A little advice on delegating tasks is having trust and faith that God will provide exactly what you need to help complete some of those daily or weekly tasks. I’m a stay at home mom, and I still feel like I struggle with balancing things, like time with my daughter, time with my husband, time for ME 😅 And I feel bad if I’m not playing with my daughter at all times, but then also stressed if things are a mess, etc. Just give yourself grace, and I preach this to myself everyday. If I’m intentional with my daughter for pretty much the entire day, then I don’t feel as bad putting on cocomelon for a bit while I do some dishes 😅 It’s for sure a constant struggle, we just all do the best we can! You’re a great mama, never doubt that! I’ve found me time in the mornings before my daughter wakes up where I can wash my face, brew some coffee, and have quiet time which I feel really sets the tone for the rest of the day and it feels like a good start!

Omg girl! I relate to this so hard right now! I was literally feeling today like I’m such a bad mom to my 9 month old daughter because I feel like I don’t play with her enough, or read to her enough because I’m always trying to get things done at home, or grocery shop or prepare meals. It’s SO hard to balance it all.

I totally understand about delegating to someone else. It’s so much easier when you know can do it the right way every time. My advice it…if you can find someone you trust, that has the same headspace and point of view as you, it will translate into an easier life. A life you can be fulfilled into motherhood as well as a career. I’m honestly only speaking from the POV of a nursing director that has lowly learned it’s ok to not do everything, all the time. And welcoming help does not mean you are failing. I, am still a work in progress, so I love to just “be” and watch your videos. So- Thank you!!!

Hi!! I absolutely adore you and your family. I’ve been watching you for a few years now and I always feel so encouraged by you and your videos. I wanted to comment on delegating time. It’s a constant battle for everyone but of course now you have health concerns, a baby, husband, and you’re moving and building a house + lord we don’t even see!! That’s a lot but all really good stuff. Some of the best of advice I’ve ever gotten about delegating time was from my pastor and she said that as a mom, minister, in full time work, married, etc that in order to balance it all she has to give slack in certain areas. Looking at her prioritizing and putting the things she cares about most first (God, family, etc) and not feeling guilty for taking space from the priorities lower on the list. You’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do to stay sane and healthy! I hope this makes sense but never feel bad for putting your family, relationship w God, mental health, and physical health first!!! Love you guys ❤️

You get so much help and support, and endless pain management tips from pain specialists. It helps you feel less alone especially since we are so young to be dealing with pain already! Your insurance hopefully will offer and cover it. They also have other classes that are very helpful such as a couples class that can help teach you how to be there for each other during hard pain times, not take your anger out on them, etc! I hope you guys look into it and remember that you are never alone ❤️❤️❤️

That long hook like object that you bought at the antique store is used to pull out hot racks from your stove. :-) very handy when you have a very heavy casserole dish, Dutch oven or large cast iron cookery.
