I make cobbler and I just use 5 items canned fruit, a cup of flour, a 1/2 cup of sugar, stick of butter, and a cup milk. Set oven at 350°, mix flour and milk and sugar together, melt butter in deep dish oven pan, place can fruit in a deep dish oven pan, pour flour mixture over fruit and bake for 10-15 minutes keep an eye on it so it doesn't get too dark.

I make something similar EXCEPT I pour my flour mixture in a buttered pan and pour my fruit filling/mixture OVER the milk/flour mixture. While cooking in the oven at 350°, the flour mixture RISE ABOVE the fruit filling, creating the cobbler.

I love those desserts. I don’t cook well, I was severely burned on arm years ago. I am terrified to use the big stove. I can make a delicious pie from scratch in about 10 to 15 minutes, including the crust (is it the right word? Cool whip stands up unlike whipped cream. If you want to use whipped cream put 2 tbsp. of vanilla instant pudding in the cream to stabilize it. It won't break down.

My kids (who are now all adults ages48 down to 35) and they had no compassion for their mama and told me to get on a depression medication !!! Nothing tastes better with strawberries than strawberries. 🤣 I understand and can get with easy but not lazy. Why wasn't the whipping cream put in a cup or bowl and the vanilla stirred in to be evenly distributed? Might I suggest getting a pie cutter? They work great for pies. There are just some pies where a spatula or knife just can't cut it. If your whatever is falling apart, you may need to use something else.

The strawberry cream pie looked gross; the peach cobbler was a sloppy, watery mess; everything is so soggy and every dessert had spots of uncooked/undercooked cake mix! Very exuberant lady, very pretty and great personality - I love her "y'all's" 😂👍 These desserts sound good, but unfortunately, to me at least, they didn't look good at all.
