I am a retired chef and I live your cooking shows. However from one person who lives good food and loves to cook good food to another. I loved your beautifully put together appetizers and I know they are tasty. A friendly reminder please when you have animals please put them in another room and make sure they cannot get into the kitchen when you are preparing food. It is not only unsanitary but it is also unsafe for them when you are handling hot dishes. And always wash your hands! Great Great show!❤❤❤

My daughter had that problem with her 2 kittens , so she bought a peddlestool covered with carpet with a small 7×7 square on top covered with carpet , she sets it away from the island and counters but to where he can see what you are doing , they jump on it and watch her , she said in the beginning that she would put things around the edges of the island and counters , so they couldn't jump there , and they learned to use the peddlestool to watch her , Kevin's cute 😉 P.S. the peddlestool is as tall as your island and counters

A quick dip is 1-2 cans of no beans chili with one to two pkgs of cream cheese- put all into a bowl microwave the dish stir to mix up and serve with big scoops corn chips or whatever you like. Enjoy 😊

I make this but I put cream cheese on bottom of glass baking dish then chili on top of cream cheese then top with shredded cheese & put in 400° oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted

I use that Chive and Onion cream cheese everyday. I can actually eat it absolutely plain. I also dip my French fries in it, put it on pizza, in a baked potato (that’s really good). My point is that the Chive and Onion cream cheese is the bomb.

Spray bottle with water will teach Kevin to stay off the counters. The water does not hurt them. It’ll only take one spray, 2 to 3 times, and then all you’ll have to do is show the water bottle to him and he’ll run. Great recipes!!

Hey Kristin (amd friends)! I saw on previous videos you sometimes take recipe suggestions. I have to share my variation of the viral oreo cookie dump cake with you. I made it today and it is top tier. I call it peanut butter cookie cake: You need: 1 standard casserole 9 x 13 casserole dish 1 package tollhouse chocolate chip cookie dough mix 1 can of sweetened condensed milk 1 8 Oz container of cool whip About 6 spoon fulls of peanut butter. 1 package of yellow cake mix. 1 1/2 stick of butter. Preheat oven to 350. Grease the bottom of your dish with butter Add one layer of cookie dough mix to the bottom and pat down Cover that layer with the sweetened condensed milk Cover that with the 8 ounces of cool whip Dollop 6 spoonfuls of peanut butter over the cool whip Cover in your cake mix. Add butter pats to the top like a normal dump cake. Cook for anywhere from 40-50 minutes and enjoy!

The spray bottle for my kitten is the only thing that worked and just say no firmly and it doesn't hurt them & it will get them to get used to not be jumping on where you're trying to prepare food. By the second time. Now I pull out the spray bottle as soon as he sees it he makes a quick U-turn.

My Mom and I make a Velveeta cheese dip. It has Velveeta , fried onions (as many as you like), tomatoes, peppers( if you like). Melt Velveeta in microwave Can put a little milk or cream in it. Sautéed onions on stove til translucent. Add a little pepper. Also sautéed in oil or ghee. Tomatoes use the canned or can use fresh and roast them in oven it's more flavor. Peppers can do same with roasting in oven. I don't use peppers but my mom does. You can put whatever spices you like. Garlic powder is good in it. You can also sautéed garlic. The fast way if you like salsa is put your favorite salsa into the melted Velveeta. I don't like salsa to much so I make my own lol.

If you put tin foil on your counters… especially at night when cats tend to roam… he will jump up on the foil and it will make a noise that will scare him but not hurt him. It should only take a time or two and he wont attempt it any more. They are smart!! Worth a try!! It worked for my daughter’s nosey rosey kitty!!

Exactly add in a brand new spray bottle with water in it. Spray him & tell him a very firm NO. Soon all you'll need to do is pick up the water bottle or a bottle & shake it. They'll disappear fast. Unless the cat loves water then you're screwed using the water bottle lol.

Hi all, some folks have said that my posts/ comments are rude or mean. That is not my intent, not at all. The purpose of this comment is to inform you. Take it or leave it. Eat what you like, I am just passing this info along. I feel there are much better ways to make a cheese sauce with out using Velveeta. Velveeta is not real cheese, is is chemically engerined cheese. Velveeta's min components are milk, fat/oil and alginate. Alginate has been used for decades by dentists and orthodontists to make moldes and impressions of your teeth. The oil and alginate is why Velveta melts so smoothy. It become a glue like substance. After melting (with out adding any other ingredents too it) Velveeta will return to a solid state as it cools. (In my opinion Velveeta is a block of glue, as it cooles it returnes to its glue like state). It is also loaded with salt. .... if anyone is intrested there is a simple way to make a cheese sauce. Yes it takes a little time.... but to me it is a better option..... I am mot degrading or putting down anyone who uses Velveeta, I am not pointing or trying to say using Velveeta is dumb. I am just passing along this info.

Fat free ot sugar free alternatives can be used as substitutes and maintain the desired outcome. Another calorie saver is àir frying instead of the other traditional methods of preparation.

Velveeta is in itself, is an undesirable substitute for cheese. It is a shortcut bypassing real cheese which is much healthier, ounce for ounce, real cheese is the bigger bargain these days. Heathie options such as more affordable nutritional creamier soft cheese that works well with more appealing and affordableb cheeses makes a difference in is the more affordable, healthier options that is in quality when fixing nutritional foods for family and friends. Ever increasingly prices of Velveet these days make more sense by using a more affordable nutritional options for the real thing.

Ty for your comment. I did not know that about this cheese. I am so disappointed the more I learn about gmo foods, glyphosate resistant corn, wheat and soybeans, hence more detected in the foods we eat. Lab grown chicken, bug flour, chemical alternated sugars and everything else in our foods we eat and do not know what they are. Plus the high sugar and sodium in everything. Anymore, we ask ourselves, what food can we eat? It's overwhelming. Some countries eat alot cleaner and these products are banned. Wish we were the same. I will screenshot that ingredient, ty. We knew if the first ingredient on cheese is cream, milk ect, it's real cheese. For the cheese we've bought all our lives growing up that the first ingredient that is oil, it should be labeled as artificial cheese. They hide so much in the labels we're frustrated. -John's wife

Alginate is healthy. It’s seaweed. I make keto pasta using sodium alginate. Brown seaweed.
