There were at least six times I would have declared it a masterpiece. Framed it and hung it on the wall. I learned a lot. Thanks.

You answered one of my questions about painting mist and fog on something I'm painting. Thanks for your clarity of both teaching and showing how you do it so skillfully. This will help me so much, I can't thank you enough!

This is a very instructive tutorial! I find it relaxing to watch you paint with this light music. How would you do a misty look in a leafy tree forest with the different colours of the leaves (especially in the fall/autumn) and trunks?

This is so beautiful! I wish I was able to have more artistic vision when trying a painting on my own. I don’t know how to “hone” that or capture visions.

Thanks Kristin I like when you paint a tree then blot it with tissue to soften the colour and edges at the same time. It is very realistic looking thanks for sharing 😊

This time of year, the forests in this area are often shrouded in mist. Just yesterday, I was so inspired to paint this, but wondered how the fog was painted. Thank you!

Misty, moody, landscapes, are my favorite to paint. I'm not real good at it, but I'm getting better. This tutorial was truly appreciated. I did learn something new. It's always beneficial to watch an artist paint a misty landscape, and the one you did turned out beautiful. I'm not sure if you're familiar with Jackie Peacock. All she paints is misty landscapes from the Pacific Northwest. Check her out sometime. She does stunning works of art.🎨

Thank you so much for showing the different ways of painting the pine trees and blending them into the mist. The wet on wet is a good base to work from. Loved the colour you chose too. Have a great day thanks so much. What about some snowy scenes and log cabin? 😊
