I was in Brooklyn for my son's wedding a month ago and was able to visit. Such a cool store. I bought myself a Fringe Supply project bag for myself and a Making magazine for my daughter who hadn't arrived yet. I could have stayed all afternoon.

Oh good. I got my grey fringe there too!

Great interview.. and a fantastic store.. Imagine that! A store that carries both yarn AND quilter's cottons.. plus everything else.. I want to go there.. But.. Cincinnati is just a tad too far away..

I loved the whole interview. Katherine (Catherine?) is awesome. What an amazing woman. My jaw dropped at 46:40 when you panned to the back of the store. OH EM GEE!!! There is no decent yarn store here where I live. I am so envious. Just wow. Every interview you do, I think 'this is the best' and then you do another and take it to the next level. I was riveted and happily ignoring my chores lol. I love that you talk about the whole person and not just specifically knitting. People are so interesting and your interview style really delves into their lives (respectfully too!) and reveals lots of interesting facets of each person. The kind of things that aren't always obvious but are important to the whole make up of the person. Thanks so much. Keep them coming. PS. Would love to see her 'breast installation' when its completed. She didn't mention why she knit it. I wondered if it was for breastfeeding or breast cancer awareness or ?? I'm curious is all. Thanks again. So much goodness. A great happy hit for my day. xo

That store!! Makes me want to go to Brooklyn just to shop there. And those sleds! You have my old sled (or looks just like it). I feel young watching your youtube but then you said your age and you are 1 yr older than my son...I could be your mom. LOL Still feel young watching you!
