I learn so much from you, I try to watch other tutorials and I just don't learn as much. I have your brush set and I just ordered your Art for joy collection paints, next month I'll get your book. Thank you

You sure are good with that brush, Kristy. I love the things the dagger brush can do. I need to practice a lot. Watching you helps. ☺☺💖💖

Awesome work, so outside of the box, love it. By the way, I have a question, I've watched your vids on the watercolour brands you like and use and I was wondering if you've ever used the brand Royal & Langnickel and what your thoughts are about them...if it's not to much to ask could maybe do a video on them...thing is I've been looking for good information on this brand for so long and haven't any success...I hope it's not to much trouble, Thanks :)

R&L is actually the brand that made me fall in love with dagger brushes!!! Very good company!! Super affordable but great quality brushes!

It would help me immensely if, when doing leaves or leaf drills,you could mention whether the leaf was being drawn coming FROM the stem or going to the stem. Maybe this sounds stupid, but when I'm doing drills, it's difficult to know which end goes to the stem!!!

Your 12 second roses were a game changer. I love this one too. You’re really helping me let loose and be OK with not being perfect. I was wondering, I’m really struggling with arrangements and compositions for bouquets and was wondering how you go about it? How do you know what looks good where? Do you have a video about that?

This type of "dimensional" curling/twisting is my favourite thing to paint/draw, whether it's leaves, or petals, or octopus arms, It's just so fascinating to me! Thanks for the demonstration!

So happy to see another leaf video. Can't wait to try this. As soon as I excavate the madness that is my desk from a weeks worth of inktense experiments definately going to try this, along with all your other leaf videos. You really are one of the best watercolor teachers on here, you make it OK to play while learning and thats so comforting. Happy your starting to feel better.

How do you know where to add a darker color?
@KristyRice2 жыл бұрын
Well sometimes I just go with my instinct, or will follow what I see in a reference photo, or if working from my imagination I’ll add a shadow where one leaf just overlaps another…. If you’re painting from life you can think about where the light source is coming from. The surface closest tot he light will be brightest, the surface obscured from the light will be shadowy :)
@teresazade74962 жыл бұрын
