Oh my gosh, this is fun! Type A person here who has her pantry alphabetized and fronted like store shelves. I’m still cringing inside, but I’m pushing myself forward. What an amazing teacher you are - “unexpected opportunities” sounds so much more encouraging than “mistakes” does. I’m so thankful you have years of saved videos because I’m bingeing like an obsessed woman here!!! Thank you, dear! “Old dogs” can learn new things! I love your way of teaching.I always get so much inspiration. I do a lot of graphite drawing and just starting with watercolours but I’ve always used the “H” pencils for light drawing application and “B” pencils for heavier darker shading and this is consistent with the drawing courses I’ve done.
@KristyRice Жыл бұрын
Yes absolutely that is a solid, classic approach. I just find I’m prone to making indents in my paper with the h pencils as the lead is so much harder :)

So - I tried practicing your technique using the shape of the third leaf and a mechanical pencil (and also the nib of a fine point gray marker - I never liked the color) and I am SO ECSTATIC!
