Loving her more and more with each interview. She has got guts to speak about the disadvantage newcomers have in the face of starkids and she expressed it non-agressively (which is perhaps how Kangana addressed the issue and man i love her for that). She even had the guts to speak about it in Koffee with Karan while Karthick was still being a bit of a scaredy cat about it and trying to do a balancing act. But Kriti spoke almost like how Tapsee did in her interview with FC. Co-incidently, both are engineers by qualification. Love such intelligent women. I also liked how she answered the question on the dubious lyrics of the Coco-cola song. She firstly did not play the victim card by saying i am not in a position to say no to such songs. She saw it for its entertainment value purely and it was important how the song was filmed and this made sense to me because for example, the Fevicol songs with Kareena was filmed vulgarly. Kareena acts out "Main Tandoori-Murghi hoon. Chabale mujhe alchohol se". And the filming of the song made it all the more cringe-worthy. (Yet, today she has a radio show about What Women Want. The dichotomy of it appals me). I hope more opportunities come her way and she does a damn good job and puts the mediocre star kids in their position. And lastly, never short in appreciation of Anupama. Every question, every reaction - just apt.

Agree with you but there's another way to look at it. You need a bankable star to be a part of a bankable script only then will it actually make an impact. Unfortunately so many beautiful scripts probably disappear in days of releasing because no bankable star is in it. For bankable scripts like pink, raazi and uri you need bankable stars like amitabh bachchan alia and Vicky to make it reach a wide audience

This is why I find ppl overhyping Alia's mediocrity and calling her the best actress in the industry (The whole Koffee season is about putting down Deepika/Ranveer in favour of Alia/Ranbir) so problematic. If you can't see how other actresses (Taapsee, Sanya, Kriti, Parineeti, Bhumi) probably would have done a better job at those characters then I really don't know what to say. Anushka has no projects at hand, Deepika has to co-produce a film because of poor scripts and her insistence on pay parity and Alia gets the cream of projects because of KJo. This is why Kangana called her out. She can't say a word in support of Manikarnika because she is a slave of that man. I really wish ppl would look beyond Alia and see and appreciate the work being done by other actresses who might not have a great PR and nepo-industry backing.

Alia Bhatt is the most overrated thing ever. She got Udta punjab on Kjo's recommendation and Parineeti was thrown out of the film. She left Raabta because of KJo. She honestly probably got Gully Boy because Kjo and Zoya Akhtar are longtime bffs. This man basically controls her entire profession and personal life to the tee, and yet people continually drown her in applause for mediocre at best performances. Pls watch Radhika Apte in Phobia, Swara Bhaskar in Nil Battey Sannata and Anarkali or Aarah, Taapsee in Pink etc. These women are much more nuanced, subtle and able to change expressions. Alia often just resorts to whining noises and one-note dialogue delivery.

Am I the only one who feels Alia Bhatt is overrated af? I mean she's good but not the best.She is handed all the good roles by KJo. Anyone of Kriti, Taapse, Radhika could've done those roles better but they don't get the opportunity. Alia has even whined bout having too much work when Deepika Padukone had to sit without work for almost an year because she couldn't find good scripts, that too after giving a massive hit in Padmavat. Same with Anushka Sharma. Actresses of great calibre aren't getting good scripts and Bhatt gets em without any struggle. Imo she only shines because there's no one else on the field rn.

Your movies work or not is also secondary. Among other things, I hate how some of these Bollywood actresses totally throw their South Indian movies under the bus, as if they never existed. Kriti did at least two Telugu movies before she worked in Bollywood, and here she's like after modelling I did Heropanti. Contrast that with some of her seniors who correct the interviewers and say they in fact debuted with a South Indian movie - for example Aishwarya Rai who debuted in Iruvar.

Kriti is a wonderful human being ,and an engineer -these are my two of her favorite traits.Its always nice to see her,hear her.she motivates me to study hard and become a good person. I m glad I came across bitti - her character in reel life -Acting is a very difficult skill -Bitti traits were not her traits,its was so astonishing to see her transform into someone she was not ,and pull it out with so much ease .That shows she carries the gift of acting. Manvendra Misra okay tell me one thing, Nepotism is an age old concept, happening since the dawn of time in Bollywood by various production houses, then why only certain specific ones are targeted? Why only dharma productions? Why not Rakesh Roshan, Zoya Akhtar and every single production house for that matter. Why during krissh nepotism never came up ? Gangism doesn’t happen until it is needed. Every sensible person in the industry stands up for each other when they know there are attacks on them as they should. As their reputation built over years is in the line. What we fail to understand is that the people who claim to say they are the victims are only acting like one to earn favours, they say these things because they are made to say these things to invoke more anger amongst public for certain production company. Unfortunately it is working.

The only movies of her that I watched were her Telugu movie and Bareilly. I am a fan of her just because of how hungry and driven she is. Kriti was offered Saand Ki Aankh and Pataakha which were smaller films but had much better written roles for the female leads. She rejected those movies for Houseful where she is reduced to nothing more than a piece of flesh cardboard character on screen. She keeps gloating on her hunger and drive to do great cinema but it doesn't reflect in her choices. She seems more interested in stardom and fame than doing good movies, which ka fine. But at least don't pretend like you want to be seen as a great actress when you are not even 10% there. And ti all those ignorant people saying she did Houseful for money, that's not a valid excuse considering she makes a shit-ton of crores from endorsements and ads alone. So when it comes to movies she could have made better choices but she doesn't have the courage or spine to make those choices. And her education doesn't reflect in her answers and the way she talks. If she is so passionate about doing good work why is she not taking acting classes in her spare time to learn and grow like many Hollywood actresses do??? Also she lacks empathy, thoughtfulness, understanding and depth in character both on screen and off. Such an average boring personality. Wish she had a little more substance to her.

@Arjun Roy I can tell you a little about that, although I'm not altogether sure where exactly that inside joke originated. It might have been with All India Bakchod, or with East India Comedy, or even perhaps on some other channel altogether. I myself found out about it because of SNG Comedy. SNG have this series of videos where they've had various people from the entertainment industry as guests on their show. And someone called Giridhar makes the exact same comment on every single video: "Call Kriti Sanon and discuss Nepotism". That's how the joke started. Gradually other people began to notice, and they would look for his standard comment every time a new video was uploaded.

They don't know how to do auditions either. Everyone is saying 100 or 1000 people are auditioned and it's coincidence that the person always chosen has connections to being part of a film family or has been in close circle of directors. Besides that models are chosen or people who just did ads and endorsements. Bollywood filmmakers for the most part are not genuinely interested in finding and nurturing good talents consistently. That gives way to friends and family members to come into industry b.c it's easier to make them stars.
