That’s awesome Lola. I like the digital coupons Kroger has, but I hate that they limit them to 5 items. I guess I am thankful though that at least I could get what i did. Have a wonderful day😊

when kroger has a good sale I stock up too otherwise they are expensive

Hi Dawn 👋🏻 I don't drink soda anymore. Mostly unsweetened iced tea and sparkling water 😊 Kroger has La Croix on a digital coupon for 2.99. So I decided to stock up because I take them in my (homemade packed) lunches daily. While there, Kroger had pallets of Progresso canned soups near the checkout area with cases piled high (in-store special) for .75 cents each (with use by dates out to September 2025). 😲 Thank you for your encouraging videos ❤ in this economy, we cant afford not to buy extra if we can, when we run into these deals 🌷

I just had a homemade hamburger for lunch. You're right~they are pretty daggone good!!!! 😊 I stocked up on butter at Aldi last week for $2.49~one item I don't want to run out of. You did some good shopping there Dawn. That 's one of the BIG pluses of being a prepper~you can only buy the sale items. Smart!!! I actually canned some of those hot dogs for my dogs since I had the jars empty. I usually put up the .69 chicken leg quarters for them, but figured a few hot dogs for something different would be okay too. Yeah, they're spoiled~just the way I want them!!! I bet Ripley isn't spoiled rotten......wink, wink. God bless. ~Laura

Why noooo Ripley isn’t spoiled at all (heavy sarcastic voice)..lol. It’s nice to be able to just shop the sales for sure. I never thought about canning their hot dogs for them in case I ever needed them, thanks for the tip. Cheapest leg quarters I have found around here run about 99 cents a pound on sale. I’m on the lookout for a good chicken sale because I want to can up more of it. I’ve gotten obsessed with canning meat lately. Lol, I just can help myself. I’m making the hamburgers tonight for supper with fried morel mushrooms (we didn’t find them but we gifted them). Take care Laura. Have a wonderful day.😊

@@DoubleDHomestead I get the Perdue leg quarters at WM in 10 lb bags. I just checked and Stanford has them if that's not too far to go. Well canning meat sounds like a great idea to me, the sooner the better, before all the livestock gets "juiced."
