Vegan and vegetarian stuff is mostly great. Don't even need to switch over completely but replacing meat and dairy with alternatives sometimes is very doable and delicious.

Welcome to the rabbit hole friends. Also I recommend trying jack fruit meat, seitan, and tofu. I'll eat meat when I eat out every now and then but if I'm cooking at home I'll only use plant alternatives. First they keep for a lot longer I'm talking about fine for a month instead of a week. Second, no mess, no risk of cross contamination, no need to touch a hunk of dead carcass.
