I loved this home movie. Four generations of Family celebrating Christmas together. The Dad getting his own movie projector, and he was so excited. lol I was about the age of the little girl getting that cute stove, for Christmas. I remember getting one too. It actually worked. I got little cake mixes designed for it, and made cakes. It was great.

Nine children, God bless them. It's remembering times like these that make us miss what used to be and what a loving and caring family they seem to be. Thank you for sharing this with us, the days that are gone but always remembered fondly.

Wow my dad had the same plaid shirt and glasses your dad did. I miss Christmas with the family, from 1962 to 1995, some family passed away and others live on the other side of the USA. Best years of my entire life. 1962 to 1995

I was not quite two years old that Christmas of 1966. I remember seeing old photos at my grandmother's house of all my cousins who are now in their 60s and 70s. When I look at this family it brings back memories about things used to be.

What we have here are silent moving pictures of a family eating breakfast, opening gifts, and holding conversations on Christmas morning in 1966. Though one family member, apparently Father, heralds the arrival of a new tape recorder, he obviously did not use any audio capabilities the machine may have offered. For indeed this KZbin presentation is silent; it contains no narration or sound.
