This is probably one of the most fitting episode names yet. I swear I had flashbacks to every adventurer I've had that was run down by bogeymen when they started to chase Tuco. Very glad to see she survived to see another day. Really goes to show just how much your creature selection matters in Adventure Mode on how you survive situations. Tuco handles things very differently compared to adventurers like Bim or Muthkat. She has to avoid fights the other two would have breezed through, and the fights she does take she has to fight at a distance due to her small size. DF really makes for some entertaining (and at times harrowing) stories, especially when they're told well like you do Kruggsmash. Looking forward to the next step in Tuco, Cemir, and Ushix's journey!

This is such a cute (and occassionally terrifying) series. It being set in a DF world hangs an everpresent shadow of "will the next bout of trouble be the last?" over it, though. Boogeymen find large swathes of water spooky, so you can safely sleep on shores of oceans, large lakes and (probably, it's been a while) even rivers. Won't help if you're already being chased (probably), but I've definitely slept all the way to morning without interruption more than once in such places. Not very comfortable, and a tad lonely, but it beats resting in pieces.

This series gets better with each episode, my sincerest compliments on a job well done. I don't know if you wanted to know more about the swimming mechanics, but if so, I can summarize it to help prevent accidental drownings. Level 1 swimming (Novice) makes it much easier to get your rank up, as you will no longer be stunned by simply being in the water and won't drown unless you fall in. Level 2 prevents you from being stunned by falling (or jumping) into the water. Subsequent levels just make you faster. Cheers again for your consistently fantastic content.

I finally did it! Remember honeystoker? Recently i managed to do the same thing and get myself a fortress of vampires! Interesting story though, very dramatic. (i just kinda had fun making my own story here and adding a bit of roleplay into it so yea this is long dont bother if you have a life) So it was just another day in Bronzehail (even though a dragon attacks in three years), tge miners were carving out new halls in the grand mountain, the militia trained as hard as ever and wine and beer flew on in the mead hall, its floors decorated with veins of iron ore, making orange yellowish veins flow through the grand hall like rivers. That is, until the incident. Night soon fell upon the fortress and with it its darkness. A crime had been reported and everyone gathered to a small room. In the room there were two dwarves. A child, which was born in the fortress and his mother, lying in her bed, drained of her blood. Dead. The child was crying. Everyone suspected the obvious. There is a vampire on the loose, and chances are it is that child. The father of the child, a fine cook, was let known of the death of his wife, and who is suspected to had done it. Days passed and a plan was made, even though the father refused it and begged for the mayor not to do it. The child would be locked up in a room, with no drink or food, starved. If it is alive by next year, it was the vampire, if it starves or dehydrates and dies, it was not. This was a cruel way but the mayor said they had no choice. So they did it, and upon locking the child in the room they had named him "bloodsucker", mostly friends of his mother called him this. Bloodsucker kept saying how he was also sleeping when it all happened, but no one believed him, other than his father, but he had his doupts too. And so the next day the father had been forced to lead his only son into that damned room, and as little bloodsucker obediantly listened when his father told him to go in, the door behind him was locked as the father felt he was betraying his son, a tear rolling down his face. Days had passed as the father sat there, back on the locked door, hearing his son say he was getting thirsty, then hungry too. Could have he been the vampire? Or was he trying to trick his father into letting him out. This weighted bloodsuckers father's heart, for no other vampiric killings had occured while bloodsucker was locked up. The father cracked u der the pressure and let bloodsucker out. He was starved almost to death, he couldn't have been the vampire. But soon after he was let out, the killings returned. But the father was suspicious as every time someone was drained of blood the mayor would be the one to report it. So the father had made a plan. He talked to his two friends, who happened to be a miner and a mechanic, and they setteled to keep bloodsuckers release a secret as they create a test of sorts. A year back many books were claimed from a dark tower, some of whom spoke of vampires. The father reasarched into it and made a plan. Soon, a well was made insjde the fortress. The nearby river would grant it water as its many mechanisms doors would control it. But there were quite a few more mechanisms than everyone thought. One day, when it was ready the cook called in the mayor for advice on the project. He led him into the dark hall and then into the well, as the mayor went in the father stepped out, and before he knew it the mechanic pulled a lever and shut the room. The mayor yelled in anger, trapped. But another lever was pulled. Soon spikes went up in the room, piercing the mayors feet and stabbing into his torso. A floodgate on the opposite side of the enterance opened and water rushed in, filling the well, as the spikes kept going, again and again, killing the mayor after hours and hours of agony, creating a large pool of his blood. And so, to finally prove bloodsuckers inosence. The father drank. His friend, the mechanic asked how he felt. The father turned around to show him his long teeth and pale face. "i was right!" the father said "i can prove bloodsuckers inosence!". And so he would rush out into the mead hall to tell everyone, but before he could do so, he was pushed into the well by the mechanic, who set the spikes going once more. The father was killed. And what the mechanic did? He drank. In the following days both the cook and the mayor went missing. The mechanic was elected mayor as he was the next best socially skilled dwarf. His first order of buisness was to execute the vampire murderer, bloodsucker. His second order of buisness, to ban all alcohol for a "religious fastival", one that lasted a month. The dwarves then turned to the well, and one by one turnes into vampires. The well was soon dried out and the remaining few unturned dwarves were killed over the following months. As the well had dried the bodies were found. The mayor said that the cooks other friend, the miner, had tricked them into drinking the blood of two vampire dwarves he had murdered. The dwarves soon realised they were all vampires, and acceoted it, as the miner was executed for his crimes. The evil mayor led on his fortress of fowl bloodsuckers and brought death and destriction over all, goblins, humans, elves and dwarves, never letting the well to go dry again. That is, until someone would be foolish and brave enough to try to stop him.
