I really think we should have had a Simpsons' spin-off show by now, either one of the shows from "The Simpsons' spin-off Showcase" episode, or perhaps a series or at least a season focusing on characters such as Krusty the Clown, or Fat Tony. My own idea for a Krusty spin off season would be that Krusty decides he is too big for local television any more and goes to Hollywood to become a star. He ends up in a variety of situation and at the end of the season after his movie careers failed to take off returns to Springfield to continue his show. Lots of opportunity to make fun of Hollywood. The Fat Tony spin off would basically be a gangster-comedy, depicting how Fat Tony tries to balance his career as a gangster with his family life. He would have a friendly neighbor who has absolutely no idea that Fat Tony actually runs Springfield's organized crime and who just wants to be helpful (Fat Tony's Flanders). Various other characters from the neighborhood his wife insist they open up too, and so on. The fun would happen when Fat Tony's crime life and family life clash. For example; Fat Tony having his men over at his house to discuss their next operation when the neighbors come by because his wife invited them. (Fat Tony "But Linda, me and the boys have work to do and..." Linda "Anthony, I am not going to be a social shut in because you always bring your work home every day. Why don't you invite your men to join the party?")
