There were only 3 seasons, but I felt like I spent 10 seasons with these characters. This is what Star Wars is all about. Family, selflessness, and redemption. The Bad Batch went above and beyond with these concepts.

Like Ahsoka and Ezra, Omega had a rough start as a child character. But I've always known that she'd be deeply loved and admired one day, and that she would play a huge role in the Star Wars galaxy. Her role in The Bad Batch may be over (for now, at least), but I would love to see the next animated project to be about her in the Rebellion, or at some point, Omega will finally make her live action appearance in the New Republic era/ Mandoverse.

But after the S3 finale, it was hard, I've finally come to terms and made my peace with Tech's sacrifice. I dont care what others say. For me Bad Batch was a worthy and amzing continuation of Clone Wars. It's so sad to see the story of the clones coming to a close for now. I really hope we will be able to pick up on the further story of the potential Clone Rebellion everyone keeps talking about. I think the amount of people that I saw complaining about the filler episodes in bad batch season 2 is what made them decide to only do one more season I personally like filler episodes not focused on the major story all the time but oh well maybe it only was supposed to be 3 seasons but man I love this series I wish they would do more

Honestly the “filler” episodes were just as important as the main ones. While some didn’t have a huge impact on the overall plot, they expanded on the Batch’s characters and relationships with each other. I’d actually argue that some of the best “filler” episodes came from S2. Tribe (S2E6) and The Crossing (S2E9) are among my favorite “filler” episodes from the whole show. The music, atmosphere, animation, and dialogue for these episodes were exceptionally well done. I admit that sometimes it was difficult to wait for more [obviously main plot/Empire] episodes, but the wait was more than worth it. I couldn’t be more satisfied with TBB’s ending, and I’m so grateful it ended with them being safe and happy. This OST is such a great tribute to the show and Omega’s journey! [Edit]: I’d like to change “story driven” to “obviously main plot/Empire.” Just not sure how to do a strike through in the comments haha. I’ve also changed all fillers to “fillers” because I want to clarify that I don’t see these episodes (and all other episodes considered “filler”) as actual fillers or less important/entertaining than ones that are more obviously considered the main plot. Personally, I think all of the TBB episodes contain meaningful conversations and highly rewatchable scenes. I’ll even defend Infested because of the Pyke confrontation scene in Cid’s parlor and how the episode highlights Omega’s persistence of seeing the good in seemingly bad people. One last thing to add: I’ve seen The Crossing and Tribe labeled as fillers in reviews before. That’s why I chose to include them in my examples of “filler” episodes that have a great character driven and/or world building plot that were often too hastily thrown into the filler category. Pabu would also be an excellent example of this, and see how important it was in S3! I apologize that I didn’t explain it well enough the first time. However, I’m so glad to be able to discuss Bad Batch with someone!

@@lurcah.20131 Crossing was 100% not a filler episode. It was a character development episode disguised as an "adventure of the week" episode. Although some people refuse to see past the "Cid mission" bit and call it filler regardless. The only episodes I would call highly unecessary would be some of those extremely random Cid missions like the gangster one and the droid factory one or Phee's big robot episode. Other than that, episodes like Faster, the Crossing, tribe were great for just spending some good time with our characters, which we now sorely miss.

It also highlighted the tensions between the Batch after Echo left. I was more stating that it could be superficially passed off as filler and therefore “unimportant” or “boring” due to being a Cid mission rather than more Empire-oriented episodes. Edit: I’d also like to add that overall most “filler” episodes connect to the major plot directly in later episodes. Some notable examples include Roland Durand from Infested and Omega learning meditation in Tribe. I’m so glad to have rewatched the show during the release of S3 because I was able to recognize small call backs that made me love the show even more!
