Know what would have been a cool shout out to The Force Awakens in this show? If some of the rare Phase 3 Clone Trooper Armor was seen, working alongside the Commandos and TK troopers. That armor would be rare, and the story could be that Clones in Phase 3 armor were Fett Clones hand selected by Vader to work under Hemlock, but also serve as spies to monitor the progress. It would also make it obvious how the Imperial StormTrooper armor we know and love evolved from the Phase 3 Clone armor, and the TK Trooper armor, itself being sort of a phase Zero/Proto Trooper armor. If there was another season of Bad Batch, and if the Disney leadership would let them, I would love to see how project Necromancy led the way for the Dark Troopers, Death Troopers (Canon), and Zombie Troopers (Canon Undead Troopers, Legend's Death Troopers), and even the batch of Canon's Hutt Clones (Yup!). We would also see Vader's Fist in the Background Utilizing some of the Clone and Stormtrooper Variants from The Force Unleashed.

Hot take the Empire was actually the better alternative than the Republic once the War ended

Instead of starting a war, the republic should’ve fixed the corruption problems in the senate. Then take down the corporations that were building the droid army (Trade federation, techno union, banking clan, etc), and then give immediate aid to the people who were supporting the separatist movement (left aside by corrupt republic senators like in totj). No war, no empire, peaceful galaxy. The Jedi wouldn’t have been occupied with a war so would have discovered sidious, And some one like obi-wan or anakin would have made the council see how reckless and wrong they were. Aaaaaaand peace!
