A perfect blend between maybe the best American film ever("Apocalypse Now")& 1 of the hidden treasures taken from I.Maiden's Blaze Bayley-era(from the almost forgotten but rather elegant "The X-Factor" album--for me the 1st "new Maiden album" I ever bought back in '95!!), both inspired by the novel "The Heart of Darkness"!! Very nice video Krutov2--who knows, maybe F.F.Coppola or Steve Harris(or maybe both!!) will trace it on the net & give credit to it!!!

it's actually ironic, because it's like they were in primary school and the teacher made them do a book report on Heart Of Darkness, but instead, they just watched Apocalypse Now and lifted the dialogue straight from there. . . . yet, this is one of my favorite Maiden songs, possible one of the best Maiden songs, alongside Brave New World, The Clansman, When Worlds Collide, Lord of The Flies, Man On The Edge, which were all based on books/movies and 4/5 of those are from the Blaze Bayley albums. really, almost every song on X Factor and Virtual XI are top tier. the band still plays them live with Bruce Dickinson, that's how good they knew the songs were.
