The KRX 1000 fuel filter is known to have a short life and also can cause some major issues if it becomes clogged with dirt. Our solution to extending the life of your OEM Fuel filter is our filler neck pre-filter. Just pop the filter into your filler neck and leave it. Every couple fill ups just remove the pre filter, turn it inside out and clean out all the junk that did not make it into your tank.

Ordering the tank prefilter right now. I purchase in tank filters by the half dozen and constantly change them out. I've even put the dirty ones in my ultrasonic cleaner to try and get more life out of them. Great idea you guys have there and I'm willing to try anything at this point. Here in there southern piedmont of NC mud is just a way of life and it can cause problems with any machine if not extensively maintained. Seems the KRX1000 has zero tolerance for mud and water.

Will this filter also fit the Mules? Specifically a '21 FXR?

No the same rate of flow, the oem filter actually collapses and restricts flow.

False. Don't believe what you see on other youtube channels. They sell Chinese filters to make a quick buck.

@@rightcoastoffroad So your saying full access utv is full of it? After watching his video explaining the issue I purchased one. Be a good idea for you to somehow prove this and save others the headache. His explanation makes a lot of good sense and so does yours leaving me now conflicted. I have already installed it so time wil tell.

Exactly. Kawasaki wouldn't have built a special filter for the krx if it didn't need it. He's selling the Chinese teryx 800 and mule pro fuel filters. The pump is the same, kawi just made the filter bigger for the krx because they knew it needed it. We only sell OEM filters because that's what they need. If we wanted to make a buck and move on we would sell the Chinese knock off ones like they do. A smaller filter made of the same material will flow less, its a fact. I've had MULTIPLE customers call me with smoked motors and fuel pumps because they ran that tiny knock off fuel filter that stops up much quicker than the oem filter.

Everything they sell is a "must have". Look at the marketing strategies and tell me if it makes sense to you after you really think about it.

Also, look at how they sold their "shop machine" with 800 miles. How is 800 miles enough to test anything? We have a 2 seater with close to 5k miles and a new 4 seater krx with over 500 miles in less than a month. Just becareful who you listen too.

39.99 is a joke for no more than the filter is.
