Are they going to come out with an idler and idler arm bracket for the OBS any time soon ?
@TrucksandWater3 жыл бұрын
I can not say yes or no. BUT they are coming out with a lot more products for the 88-98 Chevy k1500s.

How did you get that light bar on front bumper
@sempergumby87342 жыл бұрын
Krypo suspension failed after a year. Balljoints went first, then pitman arm, now my tierod ends. Idler arm only part holding. I contacted the company and believe me there are fine prints. Wouldn't recommend using. 07 lbz duramax 6" lift 35" tires. Daily driver, constant exposure to mud and water and rough dirt roads.
@sempergumby8734 Жыл бұрын
@Me La Pelan they did but you got to send hard evidence of their failure and send in the original for verification then they send replacement. My replaced one are already failing again.
@Ace-444 ай бұрын
@sempergumby8734 Why are they failing so fast? You think it has something to do with your lift or the product is not what it's cracked up to be? I'm heavily considering getting these for my 01 Suburban 2500. Just kinda nervous to chuck out all that money for no reason when I could get OEM from rockauto for less than half the price.
@sempergumby87344 ай бұрын
@Ace-44 I believe it has to do with my lift and running big heavy tires. Also I am constantly exposing them to all types of weather year round on the harshest roads. If your using for causal driving, they might hold up.

After a year, how is everything holding up? Im considering that kit for my 97 c1500. I can’t wait for them to come out with suspension parts.

Thanks for the video! Gonna order their front end kit in the near future. Just waiting on my hub bearing assemblies I ordered a few weeks back. I drive a 06 Durumax and can't wait to feel the difference in steering Just from the hubs. Super excited!

I want to get upgraded front suspension part (heavy duty) I got a 05 lifted and I has 24x14s on it but it’s 2wd previous owner lifted it, anyways will kryptonite fit my 2wd or what hood brand makes heavy duty parts for 2wd
@Reedic202 жыл бұрын
If that’s not complaining I don’t know what is then lol I have all there parts on the front of my 05 pull truck it’s lifted 35’ tires locker up front 2000lbs hanging in front of the front of the bumper and these parts are 5-6 years old not one single problem and I launch my truck at 4000rpms
@TrucksandWater2 жыл бұрын
How was I complaining if I explained that I was the first person in the country to have them on their OBS Chevy truck (besides kryptonite r&d obs chevy) and ran into some issues. They worked with me and fixed it no questions asked. They also redid their instructions to accommodate what the issues were.

do you buy most parts you install to your truck or do you like promotion them and they send em free? i have a truck like yours and like most your work

The same thing happened to me when i did it a couple years ago but i didnt have to cut it. Almost did but when i put the other side it cleared without having to cut it lol. You might have jumped the gun on that one ha. Nice truck dude

I saw you at Oreilys a couple evenings ago & started to wheel in & check your truck out but had to get to Home Depot. Glad to hear it tightened up the front end, those trucks are so bad for loose steering. Keep up the great content!

If your in love with the looks but not the work. Buy within 5 years new or I guess have someone else do it. True car/truck enthusiast work on their own and learn. This new age wants the truck but doesnt want to work on it. Ass backwards, Good luck and wish you the best bud.

Thank you for your very knowledgeable comment. If you watched the video, we put the parts on and then I sent it to my shop to make sure everything was correct and get a front end alignment. I was the first one in the country to put their new obs chevy parts on my truck so I was the test subject. I’d rather not mess something up that is as important as steering if I don’t no exactly what I am doing. But thinking logically is apparently a bad thing and not wanting to risk my life or my loved ones that ride with me in my truck is a bad thing apparently. Thank you for your very very knowledgeable comment.

@@TrucksandWater Your fine, your doing a great job 👏. I just put that out there because I feel like some people want a older truck but don't know how much work they can be. It takes a army to get them done sometimes but it's well worth it in the end

My 96 Tahoe tie rods and ball joints keep going bad. Moog sucks as well. I've been doing my homework on the Kryponite death grip. I don't mind spending good money on my SUV. So wish me luck.

I am about to pull the trigger on buying there tie rods for my 92 k2500. I went threw two sets of moog tie rods in 4 years. My trucks on 35s with a 6 inch lift . So hopefully the more heavy duty tie rods will last alittle longer then the moog .
