That was a LONG hike especially with that climb embedded. Good thing that there was a nice reward at the end.

@@ll-llllllllots of pre-training hikes including the Juan de Fuca and West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island. Leading up to the hike, Krysta would work from her stand up desk and walk on her portable treadmill for 3-4 hours a day. On her website, she also shares some hiking training ideas on her blog. Hope that helps!

I'm from Quincy, you can hitch a ride pretty easy. I've never had to wait more than an hour for a ride

A Trail Angel is a person who supports thru hikers along the trail with things like rides, food, etc. They are amazing!

Trail angels are people who like to help out thru hikers along the trail. They usually provide rides, places to stay, food, drinks, etc. They are amazingly helpful!
