This is exactly what I want, because I wanted a trident series but I couldn't get it because I only have a cqb field and I didn't want to have to buy an all new spring and all that, so I am glad that they kept the fps down

I already have a trident CRB and love it and I really don't wanna switch the spring out to lower my FPS so I'm probably gunna end up picking up the Alpha SDP to play on CQB fields like Tac city. So stoked on a bad ass looking gun for this price and all the awesome internals!

You rather spend 250+ on an AEG than lets say 15 bucks on a new weaker spring and 20 min of your time for changing it ? Doesnt sound very plausible to me :) it's really not a biggy actually changing the spring, there are a couple of tutorials

To be honest it will still do outdoor, you just might have to change the spring to an m100 or m110. The longer version is the exact same as the shorter one just a less powerful spring.

Hey Jonathan, quick question. I have been interested in the Alpha series for a little while, but was a little iffy on what they were taking away. After watching this video my fears have been diminished all but one. I'm mainly a field player and am a little worried the CRB would not have the range to be a field gun. Would you recommend the CRB as a field gun? Perhaps just change the motor and spring to get there? Thanks!

if you plan on doing all those upgrades, you are best getting the new MK2 CRB, it will already shoot higher and come with the better motor.

I run a 11.1 on my alpha crb and it has no issues whatsoever I'm probably gonna jump to a 350 spring and a better motor I have noticed the motor get warm after a constantly shooting for about 3 hours

Hey Jonathan.... I've been using a big revision full seal goggles and i wear a bonnie hat...... But i've been looking to buy the ASG StrikeSystem goggles because it is more comfortable for CQB..... But if i change to that small full seal goggles i would get shot in the forehead and it stinks..... Hope you answer it... Thanks. ;)

Here is what I have to add to the krytac hype what actually nobody, at least as far as I know, is covering on KZbin. It's definitely an exceptionally built product with a lot of mind put to it BUT: for all the European airsoft players, like I am, it should be definitely mentioned that all the distributed krytac guns in Europe come with a 20k motor and not with the "legendary" 30k, which is tbh kind of overpriced. (my field regulations in my country regarding fps limits for AEGs are usually around 400 fps) As a result of the weaker motor, the gears overspin and it occurred quite a few times to me, that I wasn't be able to shoot in semi anymore until I switched to full auto. Changed the motor to a SHS high torque motor and now everything works smoothly. Future krytac owners should also be aware of that, upgrading the gears can be a royal pain in the ass as well, since the spur gear has been "very specially" made, therfore if you are looking for an gear upgrade, get ready for some dremel action. And at least, what I have experienced is, some screws are made of a very cheap metal. Destroying them while you are unscrewing can be an issue as well (e. G. Pistol grip, mag release, etc) These are just a few things, which don't seem to be a too big of a deal, but if you are into customising your AS gun, you should definitely be aware of. I'm a big fan of the airsoftology channel, but since the Internet is a global phenomenon, and krytac is also distributing in the EU and else as well, fellow airsoft comrades should be at least informed about the motor differences between the US and the EU. Therfore it's up to the youtubers and for example this channel, to really set apart from all the others to reach a larger group of audiences and continue to make good quality videos with a pinch of more information. my problem with krytac are that the receivers often are mismatched and have gigantic gaps where you can see the gearbox, my other problem is the plastic is far too shiny

Most of the differences are cosmetic. I actually thought the handguard with m-lok but it's not. Instead what actually happens is you actually have to buy the picatinny rail segmets and screw them to the handguard. The only two other functional differences is that this has a 20K motor and a standard trigger vs a flat trigger and a 30k motor

in the UK you need to be part of the Airsoft association over there to get non two tone guns. if you aren't in the association you can only buy 2 tone. if the fps is under the UK limit, and is two tone it should be easier to get the gun through security, but also check if your airline will allow rifs on-board

You don't run a 11.1v motor with m85 spring. On semi you are guaranteed to over spin.

Yes for shipping purposes. If you take the tip off it really isnt illegal but you should never carry it openly. Use a gun bag. Even if the orange tip is still on.
