KS-16S FW v2.00 Comparison

Excellent video, thanks. I've just moved to v2.01 on my KS16S (v2). The v2.01 upgrade became available yesterday in Brussels, Belgium - 14 Jan 2020. A dream by comparison !!! With the v2's lift-stop feature and the the whining eliminated, it is now a perfect wheel for price/weight/power & style. I'm delighted.

No, same top speed. Just less motor noise.

Yes it is, John. Just use the King Song App, go into settings and check for a FW update - you should see version 2 available there.

@@EUCBodyguard thankyou very much and thankyou for the walk thru on this, it's probably easy for you, however, for me, your video saved me hours of , total confusion !!! There is nothing worse than doing something to a piece of equipment that I have no working knowledge on at all, so thanks for taking the time and walking us thru this

I tried to upgrade the firmware and it just spins.. never completes the process I have the 18-xl with 2200w motor

@@jameskiely5518 - Yes, the app can be a little "frustrating". One thing you might try is to turn off your phone's wifi - I know it sounds dumb but for some reason, the app doesn't seem to connect to the KS servers as well through wifi routers for some phones.
