A well trained guard dog only shows aggression against what it senses as a threat.....like an arm reaching through a door or window of it's home that isn't attached to it's owners. Vicious dogs are NOT guard dogs. And no one "needs" 3 dogs to protect their homes. They are both responsible for being "Irresponsible DOG OWNERS" They had a PIT BULL which in many cities are now BANNED. Like in OKLAHOMA CITY where a Fellow Trainer was KILLED by Pit Bull she had raised and was walking along with a Golden Retriever she was training for service work. Her pit was raised from a Puppy and well trained. But, on this day she was walking thru Down Town Oklahoma City and the Pit Bull suddenly turned on the the Golden attacking the dog. When this Trainer tried to separate the two dog the Pit Bull turned and KILLED the trainer and the only wat to stop this Pit Bull was a COP that shot the Pit. After this incident and many other attacks by Pits in the are the city BANNED Pits from city limits. This is happening everywhere and insurance companies are informing Pit owners that they must rehome their dogs of face their Home Owners Insurance, being dropped. The insurance companies have been paying out MILLIONS in Damages due to Pit Bull Attacks.

The dogs were buddies on the farm. One day my friends brother was at their barn looking at the two dogs sniffing around close by. The pit bull walked over to the other dog, grabbed him by the neck, shook him, then dropped him. Dead, just like that. The pit bull walked away like nothing had happened. He was never even provoked. Of course, my friend's brother to this day can't tell the story without tears coming down his cheeks. Never, never trust a pit bull. I don't care how "sweet" they are. You want another story? My brother had a pit bull that he not only had to chain up, but had to crate him at the same time. He thought that was cool, the way the dog was so "mean".

The owners always say their dog is so sweet , bonded with children and babies, no sign of aggression and then of course, the instincts that were bred into every pitbull come out and someone dies. People that have pitbulls are the ultimate narcissists thinking they can somehow change these instincts and are fine with putting everyone in danger. Pitbulls are also extremely stupid, rated about 60 on the intelligence list. Pitbull owners are also notorious for not having secure fencing. In my neighbourhood going for a walk with my German shepherd all the dogs are behind secure fencing but of course the pitbulls are behind a low chain link fence in the front yard. Luckily my dog won’t even look at these lunging lunatics because I’ve had him properly trained by a professional but it’s so scary. Pitbull owners don’t bother with professional training because of course they know best. First visitor we had when we were moving into the neighbourhood was a black pitbull. Everything was open because of the move and my dog was inside. He saw a flash of the pitbull running into our yard and streaked out of the back door into the back yard and attacked him brutally. He was lucky that the pitbull didn’t have time to latch onto his neck because my precious dog Steve would have been killed but the dog got away from my dog and ran away yelping. In short I strongly disagree with you. Anyone that owns a pitbull is completely uneducated about the breed and has personality issues.

The blameshifting force is strong in these two who were both ignorant and arrogant re shirking their responsibility. If you can't afford to maintain a fence you can not afford to keep vicious dogs! And how are all these dogs~who must be fed, require med attn or shots, had to be repeatedly bailed out and whose pups cost still more to feed, "cheaper than a security system?!" My three 360* security cams eg cost less than a single bailout alone require no med care~and cost nothing to feed or maintain. If you can't even trust the mother dog around her own puppies, the males from going at eachother or be bothered to harness (and is clearly cruel to kennel 24/7) then you can not keep them on a residential property! The sheer number of bite wounds at various stages suggest dogs were at one point used for fighting or trained to be aggressive. Owners never learn~it isn't that all pits are vicious but any dogs used for fighting are~and that when pits do bite their jaws cause far worse damage. It broke my heart to hear this widow describe her terror, the heartless way her husband was killed and her trauma. While Mrs Najera was on stand I thought at first Adeline looked remorseful~until viewing other footage of defs appearing disrespectful. God is love +

Why on earth would anyone keep a pack of pits ? Also, in this particular case, these are backyard breeders. They don't care about the dogs, obviously. They're breeding them for money. Prosecutor did great!!! they still going to jail and it was gruesome death knowing neighbors complained. U mean to tell me the dogs behaved so well when they were there and wreaked havoc around the neighborhood and took themselves back home like if nothing happened?! Makes no sense

I have only seen pieces of this, but it is shocking how little they seem to care that their dogs killed someone and nearly killed another person. Maybe I am only seeing portions and they expressed remorse at some time, does anyone know? Its like they don't care at all.

Bringing in a drug worker/therapist from 2 years before the dog attacks?! Wow! And blaming everyone else because they didn't know how to safely look after dangerous dogs. These poor people couldn't afford security, ring do sets for about £300 in england. Maybe stop dealing, and you wouldn't need security 🙄

As a Lawyer myself, I would need extraterrestrial assistance to figure a strategy to defend these two. I really have to commend the defense team for trying to put the blame on ACS with a straight face. I understand that they have a duty to provide the best possible defense for their clients, but the idea that these pair were as much "victims" of ACS negligence as the neighborhood is so ridiculous and overreaching that is almost laughable. I can only imagine what's going through the Judge's head when she had to listen to this ridiculous rant.

I try try try to avoid being judgmental but I feel sorry for the victims, the defendants children, and even those dog to some degree. How could they let their children live with no electric and in that kind of filth, yet be dressed nicely - wear expensive jewelry, and have a million dogs. She said in her interrogation that they agreed that Snow was "nothing" now that she couldn't "produce". Guarantee those dogs were abused severely - look at the pictures of them, all the old scars. They neglected them and they turned feral and took a life and ruined many others. Meanwhile these people won't take accountability at all. It's a very sad situation....

You need to seriously educate yourself on the facts of this case if this is what you think happened here. These people had multiple, multiple warnings & ACS involvement due to their dogs constantly escaping from their yard & attacking people. The owner admitted on TV that the dogs had been more aggressive (even with them) since getting them back from ACS the month prior to the fatal attack. Why did ACS have the dogs the month prior? Because they escaped their enclosure AGAIN and attacked a neighbour AGAIN. The one owner even said her husband didn’t want the dogs back after their last ACS quarantine but that made the kids sad so they paid for the required sterilization to AGAIN bring them home & AGAIN do absolutely nothing to ensure another attack wouldn’t happen. In fact, they had a direct hand in this man’s death when they tossed those animals who they said were aggressive back into the yard they knew they could escape from & allowed them to roam untethered while nobody was home. Ridiculous charges? Insane procedure?? Please. The only ridiculous thing here is your comment.
