Although some cops get fired for various reasons, they are much less likely to be fired for misbehavior than are employees in private business who commit similar misbehavior. In Texas, it is easy for private businesses to fire employees, unlike cops who often receive mild discipline instead of being fired.

I don’t agree, most of the time with the court system, when it comes to divorces, but in this case, I agree. Absolutely trifling of him to do something like that. Nobody should agree with the chief’s decision. In fact, the chief should be charged with accessory after the fact to the theft of service the officer’s were involved in. Flat out, the officers were involved in criminal actions.

Some states State training boards will revoke credentials if an agency determines sex on duty. It isn’t left up to the Chief or Sheriff to give a break.
