Or animals or the woman he was with. a lot of people have problems readjusting. After divorce and they don’t go out and kill people and beat up little kids. Excuse excuse. She never protected her son ever. She allowed all the a abuse and I am certain she also hit her son. Once her son was unconscious never called for help to save his life but redressed him and then strapped his dead body in the back seat and she decided where he would be left in Colorado. She took his body and left it in a deep ravine and didn't even bury him. She came up with the idea of going to Costa Rica and entered 3 countries illegally lying to her mom the whole way there. She is guilty of his death by omission but she should have never been offered a 15 yr plea. Once the judge found out she wasn't a citizen (judge should have verified that way before the plea ) she should have thrown the plea out and maybe retried both of them equally in the case. That way they both would do a substantial amount of prison time. This two of them were drug users with not just Marijuana but other drugs and they had no business drawing young children around with them while living in motels. She wil be deported so a free new life for her and he will thankfully rot in prison.

When the impact statements are being read, out of respect for the victims the courtroom should cease any activity and all attention should be given to the respected person representing the victim and/or reading the letters. There is so much going on in this courtroom from the Judge shuffling papers, cuffs rattling, talking and people packing up, you can barely hear what is said.
