I didn’t know you could pay $10.00 for an hour of community service. What does that teach someone. A poor person can’t afford to buy out their sentence but Ms. Vela and family/friends will pay it off. That is why Justice has her eyes blindfolded so she doesn’t have to see the corrupt judges, politicians, cops, doctors,, etc who cheat the system over and over. I’m surprised that the scales are still appearing to be balanced when the scales are completely tipped. Cheers!

I believe suspended sentence means if you break the 5 yr probation, you go to prison to complete the sentence....plus additional sentencing for a new offense. She won't be able to hold any type of state license or job.
