He was a TOTAL asset to this band Why didn't they bring him back on the last tour( I never went for that reason)
@jeffhill9122 Жыл бұрын
He was invited and declined. Steven Wilson has a way of alienating his players, sadly. Guthrie, Marco, Colin, Theo....All of them in fact. Marco and Guthrie found out on FB that their work with SW went gold on FB when fans congratulated them. The quote from Wes, who is an absolute stellar human being was "I've moved on" in reference to the PT song "She's moved on". What a shame. Wes' solo catalogue is available and is really really good. Had the chance to see him and his dog on tour acoustically at Berkeley in Boston a few years back. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. @@batphink2655

"How's it going in school?" And "Do you wanna talk about it?" Way out Way out of here Fade out Fade out, vanish And I'm trying to forget you And I know that I will In a thousand years, or maybe a week Burn all your pictures, and cut out your face The shutters are down and the curtains are closed And I've covered my tracks Disposed of the car Trying to forget even your name and the way that you look When you're sleeping Dreaming of this Way out Way out of here Fade out Fade out, vanish

5:45 i could just be overthinking it, but the roll on the snare makes me think about a train going over old wooden tracks. But you'll only be able to hear the train over the tracks if you're right next to it, or right in front of it. I am glad I am alive today & sometimes that feeling comes back to me. But I eventually learned... not to destroy myself in the name of those wronged me. This song keeps reminding me of my "cousin." He was a child from a previous relationship of my uncle in law at the time. He had a mental illness that he had a very hard time dealing with. His real mother was out of the picture, and his father didn't give a shit about him because he wasn't perfect. My aunt was his only hope, and the only person in this world who really understand and cared for him. The only person he could talk to when he needed somebody to talk to. When his dad cheated on my aunt and after he heard the news they would break up and split ways, that devastated him so much! He saw no other way out of here. He jumped in front of a train just a couple weeks later. 😢 My aunt tried everything after the relationship ended, to stay in contact with him, to try and fix the relationship with his mother etc. In the end it didn't matter. She felt so guilty and torn apart afterwards....A train ended his life... RIP. Couple years later my aunt heard the news that his brother took an overdose and died aswell.😢 To me, it is still hard to believe that the guys that i grew up with, and had so much fun with when i was young...are both no longer here..😢 This song just hits so hard! Porcupine tree is just the best there is, and i'm so glad i saw them live in the ziggo dome last year. ❤
