I think that watching the goats, especially with at least a couple sets of goatlets, jumping around the playgrounds is absolutely THE BEST, most heart healthy thing to watch. However, I do also love watching the daily attack flight of the Bird bug brigade is also pretty cool!

Hi Kyle and Shannon this was a fantastic video, I giggled at Herc when he was burying his bone. It was lovely watching the two mommas and the four little ones. Spruce was funny rubbing his horns on the tree and he is so cheeky, it could be his hormones that he is being mister hardman, but he is cute. The birds have grown so big now and they are lovely. Glad the vet visit with Larrynand Harry went well it's good news. Blue is so cute and Momma is so loving on her goatlets she is cute. I'm so glad you had them banded and not crimped!!! LE at Flip Flop Farmer had 3 of his goats crimped today and from what I googled, it looked so painful and the poor goats screamed like they were being tortured!!! You should do more research before criticizing the crimping procedure. It's quick and done, with less chance of tetanus, infection, and fly strike than other methods. If you don't think that banding and cutting off blood supply is painful, wrap your finger tightly with a rubber band.

I've noticed Herc is not as passive of these latest babies as he has been with the others and as he was over Spruce. He is still their Gordian but sorta think it has to do with how much he gets to watch over and care for the momma before she has her babies. He know his purpose is to care for the momma before and after and for the babies as they are born.

Spruce is gonna be his daddy's Bruce's size. He's filling out so evenly and getting so tall. Big boy. I love him so much. It's been so cool watching them all grow. Herc included.We went from Herc, Mario and Luigi to a whole pen full. It's awesome.oh yeah. Can't forget the birds. Man the farm is growing by leaps and bounds. Hard to believe not long ago that farm was just woods. Y'all have done such a wonderful job. I love watching y'all.

It's been sinking in. I'm addicted to watching goatlets. You're feeding them so well you can almost just watch them grow. Seems like it was just the other day that Spruce was so tiny, snuggling during bottle time. The other day I got a good look at Spruce and thought "I don't remember Spruce's ears being so short. I always thought they were long." Not only is he taller, he's filling out too. You folks should have a talk with Spruce and tell him he doesn't have to be as big as his daddy. I don't want to watch a future KZbin and see a huge goat with tiny little ears... It's OK Spruce, I'd still love you just as much.

So calm and peaceful at Shady Acres today!! Everyone is looking good. Herc is getting along with Blue so much better. Those babies are the absolute cutest goatlets around. I love the fact y'all are so hands on with them all. It shows how much they care about y'all too. Pecking order is being worked on. Spruce does show them the ropes and plays with them. It's hilarious when they won't back down and show who's bigger. Love the flight of the birds!! So funny. Especially the Turks running!! 😂 Glad all went well at the vets. We had to band our goats when they were young so the kids could show in 4 H. I felt so bad for them and put little ice packs on them. I was told they didn't need it, but these were our first goats. We learn thru life. We moved to a dairy farm and had about 30 bull calves. The vet came and they were not banded but they had another way done. Trust me when I say banding was better. Hey you both are doing a great job with your little farm. Your animals are loved and spoiled and. Love you both and the rest of the Doss Family.❤❤❤🐐🐐🐐

My goaties go to vet for banding and disbudding. Been raising Nigerians since 05'.... to each their own... all my goats are disbudded. I drop em off at vet. A little anesthesia, disbud and they're good to go. My oldest wether will be 19 in Feb. Man how time flies.

@KSGetOut The vet is amazed at this wethers condition; he looks like 10yr old. I have 7 total in herd.... he's my oldest. I swear by Sweetlix meat goat loose minerals 25lb bag (not the block) make sure its Goat formula with copper. Kelp (I use North American kelp from Maine). And, lots of browse - trees, weeds...etc. just remember, goats are browsers not grazers. Hooves trimmed every 6 weeks, Molly's herbal wormer formula #1 and #2. Good luck with your herd.

@@stilllearning8360 My daughter has had her dog for just over 7 years. The placement was private at the time; I don’t know what facility governed the trainer. You can google epilepsy service dogs though and should be able to find something. Boston is my daughter’s second service dog; the first one she waited nearly two years for. Sadly Alize’ was taken by the dog officer and not returned after she barked to get attention that my daughter had seized and was walking around outside in a daze… By the time we could get to court the officer had already released the dog “somewhere”, we never found out and left it to the center that set up her second dog. Boston is great though; he will even keep her from exiting her home if she seizes. He has such a wonderful disposition too Best of luck
