Książ castle - Mystery, History, lost train of gold and ghosts...essential spot to visit in Poland!

Książ castle is the third largest castle in Poland and it is truly amazing to explore, I visited during the May flower festival making an already beautiful place explode with even more colour! Tied in with German and British history, this castle is home to a number of mysteries including and underground Nazi complex, a lost train of Gold and a ghost of a princess...make it a must visit on your tour of Poland!

I visited once the Castle Książ as a child. I see that it's worth to go and visit that place again. Thank's for that interesting video.

It was pretty magical, just a little crowded due to the flower festival 😅 still, amazing place!

@@michalwandas3743 makes sense, it seems to be one of the main places for tourist groups for sure, when looking at trip options…I was saddened that a lot of the cool sites in Lower Silesia have no tour options 🙁

@@britinpoland2392 Maybe not all the sites are safe for tourists but that's only my assumption. If I remember correctly the Castle was at some point one of Hitler's headquaters during Poland's occupation. The secret nazi Bell project took place not far from there in Riese Complex.

@@michalwandas3743 I have a future video on the Osowka site of the Reise complex, the main issue I have getting to these cool sites is relying on public transport…and it’s not so easy to get to a lot of the cool places in the region 😅
