It really is, boxing is a skill best learnt young you need it to become a reflex not a choice your body forms through boxing as a kid something that doesnt happen as an adult, boxers that learn late have less amatuer bouts less style less knowledge and less reflex movement they look stiff and predictable. A good example of this is fury and Anthony Joshua. You can't play boxing its a science and your body needs to grow with your skill.
