For me it seems like KSI could knock-out Tommy Fury in late fifth round or, if not maybe early sixth round. If KSI cant knock-out Tommy Fury. He still can win it by judge decision putting up better fight, than Tommy Fury did. I just looked at KSI last two fights and his very agile in there, so he could easily avoid Tommys punches and then punch some hard punches back, because Tommy is slow, bulky big man, that dosent punch even that hard, when could not knock-out Jake Paul. Tommy punches are decently hard, but not elite level that is up there in the boxing world, so as big bulky man he can take some of KSI punches, but he will quickly realize, that he underestimated KSI and then its about surviving for Tommy Fury. Tommy also underestimated Jake Paul, when thought he could knock him out, but could not and this is why he thinks Jake is better boxer, than KSI is, while its not trues actually, when KSI has better form as boxer, than Jake Paul has.

no matter what you think about KSI's boxing skill level, the dude has crazy work ethic. People always judge him based on pro boxers with 100s of fights under their belt and people who have been training all their lives. Just for a little bit of info, the bouncing on his toes / hands down / leading with power shots style he's using comes from kickboxer and MMA fighter Michael Venom Page. They train together at London Shootfighters and KSI has really bought into it. Its interesting at this level as it might let him stay very relaxed without much danger of a response. However MVP is a freak of nature and incredible at what he does so it's very very hard to replicate that. MVP also recently lost to fellow MMA fighter Mike Perry (backup to Logan Vs Danis) in a bare knuckle boxing match so its debatable how effective it is with no threat of kicks.
@danielsimmonds464
@danielsimmonds464 8 ай бұрын
Mate did you watch that fight? He didn’t loose to Mike Perry it was a draw. And I’m not even sure how that happened because MVP dominated the first 5 rounds of that fight. Perrys only round was round 6. So for The judges to call that a draw is beyond me.
@orm3966
@orm3966 8 ай бұрын
@@danielsimmonds464 in bkfc there are no draws and Perry won the overtime round. I actually cant remember it but am I not correct in saying Mike got a knockdown early? I do know me and everyone else thought that would have been the easiest fight of MVPs recent career and I think on MMA MVP would walk through him so his style probably relies quite heavily on the threat of all 8 areas rather than just 2.

Respect to you for being logical, KSI is a beast the man is a determined person, hes missed many Sidemen shoots etc for this fight. I can almost garuntee nothing means more to him right now than focusing on and winning this fight. Tommy is a beast of a man, huge guy but you also have to take into account he just had a child, nothing means more to a man than their kid. I think KSI has a very good shot at winning this fight but it has to be done early, where his quick blitzing and power is at its peak. I think if it goes the distance Tommy wins for sure could be just mind games but if tommy really thinks KSI is a small man and pushes in early looking for his own KO he might just get caught.

Respect to you not just straight shi talking and hating on him just bc he’s a “YT boxer” bc most pro boxers just seem to under value these guys just bc they stared off on YT.

Only ever seen KSIs highlights clips and always thought he was just wild flailing punches. Good to get your take on it and also watched his video with AJ recently. He's committed af. My 6yr old son badgers me all the time for Prime though so he's still a f@nny and I hope Tommy gets the win. 😄

i think its really hard to tell since jj has the most unorthodox style you could think of and reminds me alot like wilder. i mean hes pretty much wiped the floor with most of his opponents (apart from logan) and we haven't seen much training footage from him, so hes quite a mystery in boxing. we havnt even seen him in the later rounds yet as most of his most recent boxing fights have lasted 1 round to 2 rounds, but at the same time tommey fury has the experience, beat jake, and is the more polished fighter. i think jj has to go for the knockout otherwise tommey will win by decision

A good jab will win the fight for either side. Fury’s jab offset Jake’s rhythm but Tommy also never put anything behind his jab. JJ’s never really stuck his jab on anyone but he’s always determined to throw. I just hope JJ shows us a jab.

Idk how ksi has so much confidence when anyone with decent defense can read his moves and adjust if you don't get intimidated by his speed and power.

Something important to note is that KSI took like a 2 and a half year break from boxing in order to focus on music after KSI vs Logan 2

I think what i analyzed from KSI's build and skeletol structure that he should switch to kickboxing. It fits hom way better. For most that would be harder, but in this for him it would be way more beneficial

Even though he is driven, and does a lot of work, he doesn't dedicate his life to boxing like Jake did for a few years, which makes some of his ability quite impressive. He spent around 3 years doing nothing after dropping boxing to focus on music. And even before that, and since he came back, does minimal boxing training between fights. Back when he started he would do boxing training during a camp, then immediately drop it all and do basically nothing - often ballooning in weight and losing all that physical condition he has. He has got better in the last year or two and keeping himself in shape between, but still does a lot less boxing (sometimes none for periods) between fights. I do wish he had stuck with a boxing coach, and continued to dedicate to training the fundamentals for longer before looking to add more unorthodox elements to his game. It would have done a lot for him and he could have been so much better.

I think KSI is alright and I've been saying this. Sure he's very inefficient and has loads to learn to conserve himself and not be gassed by the 3rd but overall I think he has a good fundamental base to build off. I've definitely seen people in my local gym make more of a meal of it than he has in his previous fights! That being said, he deff is not good enough yet to beat Fury good on him if he can make me eat my words but i doubt it.

Something a lot of these youtuber boxers haven't overcome yet, is the fear of being hit. When you fear being hit your natural instincts takeover instead of your boxing discipline, that's why all their styles are struggling to straighten out
