The thing I like about geordie is that you can always count on him to give props and respect where it’s due to either side. A lot of people have been highly underestimating Alex because jj is putting himself on the highest pedestal possible. And for that simple reason, I honestly hope Alex surprises everyone on the night. At the end of the day, JJ knows how to sell tickets and entertain, as does Logan and many other KZbinrs during face offs. However, it was clear that Wasabi was expected to read the room and meet JJ’s energy, but he did not. Which is why JJ came across as dominating the discussion and wasabi came across as disengaged (that, and he has adhd). Realistically, resources or not, they both train hard. But JJ is naturally a heavier weight class and more experienced, even when he gets down to Wasabi’s weight class he will still have the strength of his previous weight class. The odds are JJ will win.

Let’s keep it realistic and factual. The fact that KSI is not just training but doing all those other things is not surely something that has a small impact on his training and boxing skills. Just all that effort trying to lose all that weight asks a lot and that’s not even boxing yet! So realistically he has little time to actually train and learn boxing! Alex is doing it fulltime, how it should be and that’s giving him a big advantage! KSI is not a professional who does not have to train enough because he can rely on his skills. He does not have them and so he needs to LEARN boxing and you can’t learn anything well if you do not dedicate to it enough or even all of your time. What I see from him is that he is trying to convince himself and others including Alex how great of a boxer he is now and create fear in them and hope these mind games will work. But these are just words and dangerous words first of all for him because he creates huge expectations and puts a lot of pressure on himself. If he was really so sure and confident about his abilities and skills, he would not have to speak like a madman and desperately trying to convince everyone that he is a ‘different animal’ and can be doing all those other things and still training enough and be a great boxer. Crazy, overconfident man destroys himself and I am afraid that is what’s happening!
