I made a Tardis from the tv show Doctor Who. It is a display piece for bents garden centre and will be used for selfies so I made it double sided which I haven't shown in the video, I also didn't show the lamp on top which I made from a bird feeder and a flashing beacon from amazon. It isn't accurate sizes because of where it fits in the shop.

I remember one time, in the late 70s when I was a kid in Manchester, my friend asked me if I wanted to go with him and his dad to a scrap yard. The one thing I remember after getting there was the rows of concrete, blue police boxes all lined up, good times.

That little squeak of "I shot myself" made me laugh! Brilliant work, especially as you went for the more difficult "white on black" text as opposed to the "black on white" for the Police Box sign, and the pyramid top instead of the flat one.

Makes me wish I had a nice wood shop like you to make one of these. Great job building one of those tardis full scale, I saw one earlier with a secret room past the doors concealed in the back panel as it just looked like a little shed inside but once he turned the key, opens the doors and a secret room with cool tech and kinda a man cave in it.

Very nicely done. I have this as a project for myself this summer. My biggest issue is the electronics. What did you use for the sound and lights?

The light is a flashing led off Amazon inside a painted bird feeder and the sounds come from the tardis toy taken apart and hooked up to a small amplifier and car speakers, again from Amazon 👍

Why is the real TARDIS made out of wood? When the real emergency police call box was made out of reinforced concrete. Because when the police in England in the old days caught somebody. They would open the Police box and put the person inside. Then phone the station to tell them to come and get them. After that they would turn on the blue light at the top of the Polic box.to show the people where the person was and come and get him or her. Now if it was made of wood you could smash your way out of it.
