I followed your instructions and it all works.... but for some reason it takes about two and a half minutes from starting the vm to login prompt (feels longer!). Shouldn't it boot in under 30 seconds? (Windows11pro on UTM does.) How do I check what is causing the delay? Thanks ps, am using 2021 M1 macbook pro with 32gb ram, Sonoma 14.6.1 os, UTM 4.5.4

Force close the VM And try again. Make sure you Mac is connected to internet.

I haven't tried with External WIFI Adapter. But do this if you have external wifi adapter. Connect it through USB while UTM is opened. And you will see a prompt to use the connected device within UTM. Then Select the VM settings, choose network and see if you could find network adapter.

Open software updater - additional drivers and see if it could recognize the GPU and install the drivers. or use sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

@@kskroyaltech Same as Mac, since I’m using an M1 iPad Pro with 16GB ram and 2TB SSD. Just I can’t get Rosetta to work. If you’re able to Google Rosetta Asahi hacked, that’s a way to create Rosetta as a file so that you don’t need mounting, and thus I could use it on my iPad and many other iPad users could. I couldn’t figure it on myself
