KSRTC SWIFT VOLVO AC Sleeper bus journey | BENGALURU to THIRUVANANTHAPURAM BUS | 13 hours journey

Watch my Bengaluru to Thiruvananthapuram bus journey by the beautiful & majestic KSRTC Swift Volvo B11R. This bus is an 8 pm bus from Mysore Satellite bus stand. The last stop is Kaniyapuram depot. There is one more Volvo Sleeper that leaves at 5 pm which goes via the narrow NH 66 route Ernakulam, Alleppey, Kollam etc. route. You also get Swift Volvo buses to Ernakulam via the Palakkad route. The bus fare for my bus was 1700 rupees. The bus reached Trivandrum Central Bus Station by 8:50 am. The bus was late only by 20 mins which is mainly because of Bangalore city traffic and narrow Kerala roads once you enter from Tamil Nadu. Total distance is approx. is 640 kms and takes 13 - 14 hours to cover. The bus was doing really good speeds, crossing 100 even at times. This bus goes via the Madurai - Nagercoil route. So you get some really good morning views.
The bus crew were very warm and welcoming. They allowed me to shoot without any problems.
Amenities: Blanket, Pillow, Reading light, Snacks packet, USB charging etc.

Watching this bus trip reminds me of the way of travel in China 20 years ago. It is also a car based travel mode, which gives me a sense of time. Nowadays, long-distance buses have basically withdrawn from China's history. Traveling less than 200 kilometers in China is basically self driving, and 200 kilometers are basically high-speed trains 🚄， Not being in a hurry is not the first choice. This kind of bus is basically used by the company as a shuttle bus in China.
