Beyond the security gates, high fences and barbed wires the inmates in the Dubai Central Prison in Al Aweer have been creating beautiful pieces of handicrafts. The vocational training is part of the rehabilitation programme where they are acquiring new skills that will make them financially independent after their release. Khaleej Times visited the Arts and Craft Section of Dubai Central Prison to witness how these inmates are learning and executing new life-skills.

هذا الكلام 80% منه غير صحيح اسوأ 7 شهور في حياتي الاكل اسوا مما تتصور مع العلم انه كل 3 ايام قطعة دجاج اصغر من ان تكفي طفل و باقي الايام دجاج مقطع او كما يطلق عليه داخل السجن ،[مفجر] طبعا الفواكه غير متاحه نهائيا اطباق الطعام غير متاحه نهائيا ممكن استعمال قاعدة سلة القمامه كي تصبح طبق للاكل السكر و الملح ممنوع العلاج كل سنه حتى يجيك الدور تروح عياده طبعا موضوع الاسنان فقط بالاحلام تروح دكتور الشرطه ٠٠ 90% منهم عندهم مشاكل نفسيه مع التهديد الدائم بفصل الهاتف عن النزيل او نزع ربع المده لا يوجد مكتب للشكاوي على الشرطه في حال تعرضت للظلم نقص بالكوادر الشرطيه و الطبيه اجراءات الترحيل بعد انتهاء مدة الحكم كما يقولون تحتاج من 10-15 يوم اذا كنت متابع باصرار يوميا معهم ممكن ان يصدر اسم نزيل بالعفو و لا يعلم الا بعد انقضاء مدة حكمه ٠٠٠٠ رأيتها بأم عيني الوضع بشكل عام سيء جدا نفسيا و معنويا و السبب المرهق اكثر الكوادر التي داخل السجن هذا ما رايت بمبنى 2 داخل السجن المركزي العوير الخلاصه٠٠٠ هذا ليس انتقاد لدوله او شخص بعينه لكن هذا الوضع الموجود بالداخل
