A thinking man with good judgement who went on to become, in only three years of his Presidency, the best President ever.

As a huge fan and student of President Kennedy I don't think it's a fair assessment to regard him as the best President our country ever had and that's only because there was so much unfulfilled promise he left behind. Had we been able to have had 8 years of a Kennedy administration and he been able to fulfill Everything he had set out to do I think we very well could regard him in the higher tier with our greatest Presidents. But as such he was still a very good and able leader and so beloved to this day by American citizens and people all over the world. We were truly blessed to have had him as our President even if only for a short time.

He looked very young in 1959, 1960. A couple of years into his presidency, he had aged a lot.

Hardwork/stress does that to you and he is one of those presidents especially who had more stress than the average president, like you said John, Berlin crisis, Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis, and Civil Rights are big stressors. Other examples of aging in presidents.... - Pres. Bill Clinton and Pres. Barack Obama.

He was astonished to be questioned again and again about his Catholic religion. The simple and elementary right of anyone to choose their own, to be a believer or not. A very clear mind that would have been much needed in politics today. Although he would surely have aroused much envy, hatred and intolerance from mediocrity, just as in his time.

We so need another candidate like this man! I was so young when he was assassinated -- but remember the moment well! Now I understand the grief...but is it even possible in today's world?

You can see at that time the old world of judgment and sticks in the mud were beginning to move because of this man. And then after he left us they tried to stitch up the old barricades and it didn’t work. For the world cannot go backwards and with his help we were able to move forward despite the incredible attempts to destroy this movement. I always knew that it wasn’t his politics or his Background or even that he was an American but it was who he was as a human being. To be the best of ourselves not only by the work that we do but more importantly by the being that we are for that determines the work that we shall do.

What do you guys think JFK would say about the 2020 Election?
@shy2848

I think he would think, that it was bad on both parts I mean trump was beyond rude talking about joes son and insulting him throughout the entire thing. He kept interrupting joe. I also think that trump has brought so much hate in this country I don’t think jfk would like that either, because him and his brother were big on peace and equality.

JFK on a booty call to the West Coast??? No doubt he got laid on this trip and it wasn't with his wife. Teddy's wife Helen had problems handling his infidelities but Jackie told her that all of the Kennedy men were like that (they ran around). Joe Senior paid for all of her expensive designer clothes and jewelry so she was happy.
